I liked this story at first but I can't handle it anymore. Neville possessed by Riddle is more than a match for Dumbledore, Harry, Flamel, Snape, Sirius, Remus, Moody, Tonks, Kingsley, Rockspear, Bill, McGonagall, all at the same time. Really? That is just ridiculous.

If you think that's bad.. Sirius, Remus, Bill & Harry getting owned by Kreacher. I stopped reading after that.

Yeah that part was a bit much too. Especially considering Harry's old world Kreacher got his ass handed to him by two random wizards who got eaten by a panther later on.

I'll be avoiding rating for now, as it will depend on the chapters to come, but it will likely be a 3 or a 4.

I do have to agree that the "Trust" is set up a little too easily and too quickly. However, I really enjoyed the interactions between Albus and Harry, despite how easily the relationship (from Albus' perspective) builds (and how quickly the story moves away from it).

I don't think it's entirely out of the ballpark of AD's personality, though. One of Dumbledores biggest issues in canon is the fact that he's having to let this terrible burden rest upon a CHILD. But suddenly this child is a grown man? Who has already fulfilled his destiny? That he already has the answers to the puzzle that is the prophesy? That even though he (AD) made grave, terrible mistakes, in this man's past (and his previously potential future) it still worked out alright for Harry in the end?

Time-Travel Harry gave Albus an easy out of a great deal of his own canon-worries/angst/concerns, so it's easy for me to accept how Dumbledore can so quickly come to treat Harry more as a peer, despite the great disparity in age and wisdom. I do dislike, however, how often it looks more like Dumbledore is a follower than a peer, though.

The chamber scene did require a certain suspension of disbelief, but it is easily one of my favourite "oh shit, he's baaaaaack!" moments in HP fanfiction.

The whole scene is completely over the top like justbrowsing's mentioned, but I found this to be a plus tbh. Maybe I've just been reading too many stories lately where Voldemort ends up barely classifying as a villain, nevermind a fucking threat. It's nice to see a scene where I genuinely thought of Voldemort as a badass scary villain. And more importantly, a Slytherin that actually expresses some measure of cunning. Like he's supposed to. Before that whole BWL obsession nonsense.

The thing that really bugged me about the whole scene, was Albus. Forget wasting the whole bloody time on countering a paralysis spell (unless it was supposed to be implied that it was lethal? o_O)! Conjure/transfigure a wall to temporarily protect the frozen aurors, and go to town on Tom.

True, doing that would have probably turned the scene into the story's climax, declaring the end near, so that is precicely WHY dumbledore was mucking about with a paralysis spell instead of trying to actually protect his people by pressuring Tom and tipping the scales significantly in their favour by doing so.

Maybe I missed it, but I just felt that there should have been something indicating just what was so perilous about that spell that he couldn't have left it for AFTER Voldemort was unconscious.

I'm trying to stay hopeful, because I honestly did enjoy reading this, despite the small issues already mentioned by myself and others, like "edgy alcoholism" and such, but the latest chapter made me feel wary to be honest. "Muggle methods come to save the day?!" DO NOT WANT, but sincerely hoping it doesn't happen despite the warning bells going off in my head.

^ This was my assumption too. It makes more sense than just 'Harry's effect on the time-line'.

While a pretty good way to waste time, I don't really see anything special about this fic. Asides not going down the road of making Harry a pedophile or insistent on keeping things the same, there's nothing unusual here. Nor anything especially mind-grabbing. Though like Taure, I do like the change of pace in that Harry's fore-knowledge actually causes things to go well for him. I'll keep reading it, but it's pretty average. 3/5.
