Because it was a April fools joke, I think. It's not longer working, to my knowledge, thank god.

 

Uh, I don't think so. Maybe I need to lurk moar, but I think the April fools joke was the 'DLP sold to GinnyPotter' one.

And besides, if it really was an April fools joke, it's still going on since April 2010 (at least), but I didn't even know the site then, and in the picture you can see my username. Also, I'd used https before, and the skin of the site was the same as in http. Those facts make me think it's actually recent and not an April fools joke.

 

The "sold to GinnyPotter.com" one was the 2009 April Fool's joke. Dark Lord Cullen was this year's.

 

And why is it still working?

 

It still works, on the main page at the bottom you can change the wallpaper to the DLC.
