Seriously, what the fuck is "hardscoping"?

 

I cant stand games like that series =/ I like how the guy half the time was insta zooming in and shooting at the walls, lol. Got to be a hack, cause the guy's laser precise on a console controller, that doesn't happen.

In other console games I'd played in the distant past, hardscoping was what we called looking down the scope, zoomed in, like you were sniping. Quickscoping was tapping the zoom in, and when combined with the auto aim lead to nonstop cheap as fuck easy kills if you did a burst. I dunno how it's used in CoD since I've avoided that series like the plague once it got huge on consoles and they retardified it.

At least this isn't another video on some guy rolling around invincible with a damned knife.

Edit: So wait, I thought the exploit guy was the one doing the impossible shots and laser guided fucking bullets, and the other dude made the video to show how bullshit it was. But it's exploit who did the video complaining about the other guy... who seemed like he was getting destroyed by a guy shooting through metal siding and getting kills when he couldnt even see the dude.

 

I barely know what I just watched but I did like all the fps stereotypes. From the little kid with a high pitched voice to the swearing every other word to the rage.

 

Both kids are pretty terrible and have shitty attitudes. I don't really get the point of this video.

 

From doing a little reading, apparently "hardscoping" (Aka, actually using the rifle like it's intended) is considered "noob" in some CoD games. I really don't get this attitude, as the alternative "quickscoping" is practically letting the console auto-aim do the work for you.

 

He was doing the second. The other guy either got confused or is just an idiot. Basicaaly it's like a sort of 'auto lock' feature that's used by pressing the zoom button twice. It automatically aims your gun at the nearest enemy, which was why we saw him just shooting at walls most of the time. It's really useful in SP but I didn't even know that it could be used in MP.

Honestly, Infinity Ward really fucked up letting it into MP. Kinda unbalances things a bit for the people who don't constantly use it.

 

Yeah but this dude was raging like he was hacking or something, when the person you're actually watching doing all the killing seems to be the one auto locking his ass off.
