This thread was inspired by the following conversation on IRC:

Apologies for the long quote, but a DLPer requested it. It also serves to give you guys a better context of what this thread is about.

The challenge is to write a snippet, however long or short you choose, on how Pokemon might have impacted WWII in a realistic manner.

For instance, I wrote a snippet concerning England's use of Pidey, Pidgeot, and Spearow in the RAF and hinted at the use of Psychic/Ghost pokemon in England's Intelligence Division.

I hope that those who were interested in IRC will contribute. =p

Closest thing to a nuke, perhaps?

Nazi war experiments, whatever it was they did to find out how certain things ticked in the human being even if it killed/horribly maimed them in the process. Eventually some of the semi-psychic ones that are tortured through it begin to unknowingly coalesce their energy together and it focuses in the main location of death-- table E or whatever.

Next poor sod that lands on that table gets jumped by all the malignant energy and it warps his/her very being during the psychotic experiment.

I suppose the flaw is of course no pokemon being used in the process, unless some of the aforementioned Darkhounds and whatnot get caught up in the mix.

edit: Unless you were asking what Mewtwo's purpose would be. In that case as Zephyrus put it, walking nuke.

Easy enough; Nazi experimentation on a captured Mew, or its reconstituted DNA. You know, like the actual story. As for role... either nuke or encryption/decryption.

I dunno. I don't think that the German people would listen to a "mere pokemon" when they have their beloved Fuhrer.

I think I'll be adding something here myself. I haven't decided whether or not it'll be the African Theater or the Pacific Theater.

Unless... Mewtwo is Hitler! Strongest Psychic Pokemon can pull shit like that.

Also, Grimers being created in the ghettos, Lt. Surge fighting in the American Air-force, and Ditto infiltrators (the ultimate spy!). Also, Porygon cracking the Enigma.

    Do want.

/po/ is Papercraft and Oragami. The pokemon board is /vp/ or /tr/. ;)
Unless you meant a different chan?

Edit: Wait, you said 'years'. So I guess a different board all together. Sorry. Where is this?

420chan's /po/ board. The place that split in half and created 151chan. Anyway, if it's anywhere it'll probably be on my PC HDD.
