It is an interesting idea. But it's not a Wrong!Boy-Who-Lived. The twin who survived the Killing Curse is in fact the Boy-Who-Lived. The term doesn't mean Voldemort's Horcux or the the kid in the prophecy. It means a kid (boy) who survived Voldemort's killing curse.

That's just completely semantics anyways though. Just call it Wrong!Prophecy-Child-Who-Lived if you really need to then.

I thought this was going to be a thread about Fred and George being targeted by Voldemort back in the day...

Imagine the implications of all the Weasleys being wiped out save the twins, and them being raised by Aunt Muriel. Man, that's some fail-tastic shit right there.

The twin housing the Horcrux is the one "marked as his equal" because in canon, even though no one understood it at the time (except perhaps Dumbledore, who deduced the whole thing sometime later), the "marking" wasn't the physical scar, but the fact that Harry had inside him a piece of Voldemort's soul and therefore Voldemort himself.

Dumbledore himself says that most prophecies are understood only in hindsight, which was the case with this one. In fact, the twin who carries the scar and the Boy-Who-Lived title would be completely irrelevant to the prophecy (as it's written in canon) if the other twin were to carry the Horcrux. Not that anyone would see it that way without knowledge of the Horcrux's existence, but that's also irrelevant.

I'm thinking Harry Potter ala The Dark Half - Harry had a twin absorbed in utero.

With the inappropriate utilization of phoenix tears, you can come out with a horrifying mpreg worthy of Lovecraft as Harry's twin begins to grow inside him when Harry is in the Chamber of Secrets.

This idea popped out at me while watching Star Wars last night-

It sounds terrible in my head, and probably sounds even worse on paper.

Ronald Weasley is Harry's twin. :p

Dumbledore split them up, and took Ron to the Weasleys like "Luke was taken to Tatoonie" basically how I got the idea in my head.

Feel free to rip the idea to shreds. =)

Harry has a twin, Brian Potter.

Voldemort did not kill Lily using the Killing Curse. No. He took his time. And when Dumbledore found him Harry was completely covered in Lily's blood and Brian was sitting in a corner quietly.

Harry and Brian get separated. Brian goes to an orphanage. Cliche, I know, but necessary. Harry goes to Remus. Remus soon realizes that Harry has an addiction. To avoid him getting caught and since he is the last link of his to James, Remus teaches him a code hoping that Harry will exterminate what is left of the Death Eaters and not kill innocents.

Do what you wanna do with it. :p

For those who are confused, go watch Dexter (Showtime).

    In short: Do not want.
Now, I might read this. Anything with serial-killer!Harry is worth a look-see. You'd need more than just 'Last link to his parents' to make a convincing argument for Remus to send him off like that rather than unrelentingly trying to 'heal' him, instead, I think.

If it was anyone other than
child of the woman he was banging
I am pretty sure Harry Morgan wouldn't have gone to all those lengths to protect him.
She died while working for him
and so he felt that it was his responsibility to care for Dexter.

Spin the same shit with Remus. His and James' bond was much stronger.

The real cool part would be what happens when Brian meets Harry? You can have him join Voldemort like all other boy-who-lived stories where Harry is neglected so he joins the Dark Lord. And the one scene that keeps coming into my mind is:

End of year 3. Pettigrew begs Harry to not let Sirius kill him. When Pettigrew escapes since Remus turns into Werewolf as the full moon rises, Harry stuns the rat form Pettigrew changes to without anyone noticing. The next time his eyes open Pettigrew is bound to the table in Harry's KillRoom.
