Anyone else watched this? It's a two-season show that got cancelled back in May. I've spent the last few weeks watching it. It's drawn from DC Comic's subsidiary Vertigo Comics, based around Christopher Chance, a unique private contractor, bodyguard and security expert hired to protect his clients. It differs from the comic book character in that he doesn't take on the target's identity but rather integrates himself completely into their life while on the job.

I thought the first season was great. The supporting cast and the main character really did a great job, plus there was a decent backstory on Chance being revealed gradually throughout the season, not to mention Baptiste, the most awesome counterpart I think I've seen in a while.

The second season's quite a drag though. They decided to introduce regular female characters in a reformed thief (Ames) and a rich widow (Ilsa Pucci), and while Ames has been pretty good as of the eighth episode in season two, Ilsa just drags down the show with her moralistic, busy-body attitude. I'm half hoping someone or something kills her off, but since I've heard she later gets UST with Chance, I'm not so hopeful. Also, Buster from Arrested Development plays a PD called Harry who is fucking annoying as heck.

    So yeah. Thoughts?

It was alright. Just another cop show that doesn't suck. I hated the second season when they introduced the womenz.

The first season was really cool, but I couldn't watch past the first few episodes of season 2. The women were wasting time I'd rather have seen spent on the three guys; JEH's character definitely deserved more screen time.

I dropped the show during the Human target during the fourth episode.
    The writing took a nosedive.

    but what do I know.

First episode was alright. Second was retarded with the "FLAW IN THE INTERNET OH NOES" bullshit, and the third was also alright. Hardly a stellar show but it passes the time.
