It looks like she might be the Harrison Ford of the Harry Potter franchise ie. the only one to have a career when its all finished. Unless Radcliffe does really well in musical theatre.

Happy for her, but this will delay/destroy chances of release for a project I'm starting work on in December, so I could slash Del Toro's tyres right now.

You think Emma in Beauty and the Beast is weird, Tom Felton is co-starring the Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

I cracked up. Perfect sig, DarkSov.

Good for her, though. Seems to have a whole string of roles lined up, what with Wallflower well underway and Marilyn in the works, too. First lead role, though. Must be pleased (and even richer).

And lol, those Malfoy fangirls will hopefully all switch to Planet of the Apes fanfiction, and take their slash with them. Unlikely, but one can always hope.

Nah, Rupert Grint's already had two, or three?, decent films out already. He's gonna do well, imo. Also, It can't be worse than "Beast" starring the chick outta High School Musical and the guy that done Alex Rider. :facepalm

I'm looking forward to seeing her in more roles. She was excellent in most of the Harry Potter movies, particularly DH1.

Tom Felton will completely distract me when I watch Planet of the Apes. Still, I've liked his work in the HP films, so perhaps he will be good in other roles too.

This is going to be the most weirdshit B&tB remake of all time - especially if it's just diet Pan's Labyrinth in terms of character design (a la HellBoy 2).

Yet another Del Toro's project that may or may not happen, but - Ron Perlman as the Beast must happen (again).

Sometimes, I wonder if she even wants a career in acting. I always thought college was her attempt to get out of the business then she realized she was sort of stuck with being famous.

Also, Rupert will not be successful in major movies. He's just too ginger.

I disagree completely. Rupert is easily the best actor in the trio, he just got screwed by the writers/producers. You also forget that he is British, and the British tend to become famous for their acting, not necessarily their looks. Anyways, he is hotter than Daniel Radcliffe.

Rupert Grint is attractive. Far more than Daniel Radcliffe.

I'm interested in seeing how Matthew Lewis and the Phelps brothers do.

    ...can Emma Watson sing?

There goes the baker with his tray, like always
The same old bread and rolls to sell
    Every morning just the same
Since the morning that we came
    To this poor provincial town

Hehe. And the bookworm typecasting begins!

    No, not that Belle. :awesome

    Poor Jerry Orbach... :(

    EDIT:
Dammit, Taure! It was bad enough that you've got "Belle" stuck on repeat in my head, but now I keep thinking about Cormac McClaggen singing Gaston's song. No good can come of this, mark my words.

Since it's one of my 'Disney Favorites,' I want it to be a beautiful and well-made movie.

...but it's 21st century Hollywood, Emma Watson, and Del Toro...

'Del Toro' and 'beautiful' don't exactly match.

That might be, but I said major movies. I never said he wouldn't be successful at all. I just don't see him getting that leading man role in a major big budget production.

Also, I'm calling it. Gaston will rape Belle because Del Toro is one fucked up man.
