As part of my quest to re read fic’s I read years ago to see if my mind is clouded with nostalgia or they were actually good I need a hand.

I’m after a specific fic set I think after the epilogue though it was definitely set after the 7th book.

The fic reminded me very much of the Time Travellers Wife. (The movie though I haven't read the book)

The basic premise was that Harry was experimenting with a new form of apparition and then after a mishap became unstuck in time and would randomly travel to the past or future.

Some other random things I can remember:

• Ron died before the fic started saving Rose from a werewolf
• It largely followed cannon up to the fics start.
• Harry and Ginny got a divorce mid fic for a heap of reasons though from what I remember it was carried out in a way that didn’t lend itself to bashing either character.
• Harry died in one of his slips back in time where he appeared in front of a train, Hermione seen it though did not know it was Harry.
• A lot of the places harry slipped in time to had Hermione there.
• After Harry died Ginny married Dean.
• The fic eventually became H/Hr
• Harry was somehow brought back to life by changing an event in the future he travelled to when he was alive.

It remainds me a story Where Harry swallows a time turner. IT had Harry dating both Cho and Susan same time at some point I think.

is that same story?

 

No, that's my crack story "Harry Potter and the Time Snafu". The one in the OP sounds vaguely familiar, but I'm not sure what it is.

That one's a bit low on my priority list, but I'll get back to it eventually.
