So I read a fic (or maybe part of a series, who knows?) a while back, and found it reasonably enjoyable, if not favouritable.

However, about the only thing I can recall is that Harry says there is no need for a muggleborn introduction pack or anything, and uses Hermione as his reasoning - she is the top student in the year, and muggleborn, and he does well himself, and was muggleraised. So the money would be better spent on Necromancer, rather than renting France's one.

Also, there was a party at the beach. I think. And a mermaid patronus from Susan(?).

Okay, well, according to a google search, it is a word, but certainly not what you're describing - although I think it'd be a pretty damn interesting fic to see a properly executed bloodist!Harry.

Sounds like The Santi's Dark Lord Potter Part 1. But, I don't think a mermaid patronus is in this story. Sounds like one of the old-crow's stories. They all blend together in my mind.

 

A Harry that goes around, sampling the blood of different persons could be interesting on more than one level. Blood does seem to carry a lot of power in the HP verse so it could start out as Harry wanting to increase his power to defeat Voldemort and end with him liking it.

Not enough for an entire story but a few chapters could probably be crammed out. Gonna do ya'll a favor and not write it myself though.

And @Silens - I felt bloodist worked better than racist in this context. As far as I remember, Harry wasn't saying purebloods>>everyone else, but he did have something going on about muggle-raised.
Actually, I didn't make the link clear in the post. Sorry about that - being mildly drunk does not lend itself well to making strong connections.

I remember something similar. I think it was a one shot in a courtroom or something where Harry was discussing that law about Muggle-born funds being transferred to somewhere else. And I definitely remember something about a Necromancer.

Then why not use the word well established for this context: blood-purist?
