As long as you BOLDFACE the vote on a SEPARATE LINE (me glares at Fiat), as long as I can understand, it's fine. The boldface and separate line shit is to make it easier for me to find the votes.

    Lynch Vote Tally:

    Irene
    : 1 | Kensington (D)
    Aziraphale: 7 = 1/6(D) | Vira, jas (D), Irene (D), Klackerz (D), Pyracrys (D) Castiel (D), Necrule (D)
    Lungs: 2 | KaiDASH (D), Rehio (D)

9 Votes are needed for majority. 9 Votes have been cast. 8 Votes remain.

Irene: I don't see my name anywhere on that list...

For some reason I just have trouble imagining Aziraphale as the witch. He strikes me as a person who is simply in the wrong time zone.

....This is stupid. I am almost 99% sure that the roles are randomly assigned, and although the chances of all of them being witches are small, why would you do this?
If you don't want to play, don't sign up. But if you sign up you are expected to actually play. Not sign away your vote to someone who you think will be right.... If you are so unsure of anything maybe you should consider giving your spot to someone on the waiting list who actually WANTS to play.

Also, I don't want to vote Aziraphale just yet... And I don't think people should still be voting after he said he will post... What I am more concerned about is Vira pushing for Lungs not to be lynched/even thought about, and no one is saying anything about it? That seems scummy to me...

Honestly, I somewhat have to agree with jwlk. If that was an attempt to relinquish some of the effort put in, compared to the spreadsheet you made last game.

If nothing else, it would have been better to simply vote in line with them, without directly stating it. As is, if one of us gets misdirected and hoodwinked, then you also do by extension, and the deceiver can 'rely' on two votes that way.

Either way, it wasn't a very appealing thing to say. Although, unless one of the first two are Witches, it's somewhat mild assurance that you yourself are not one. It's just as possible that you are one of the town roles that know of someone else, but it would be rather foolish to so blatantly claim like that if you were, and you generally seem smarter than to make that obvious mistake. Although this was a bad example for you just now.

All said, I'm not sure what you were trying to accomplish with your post.

I think it's generally bad to post a 'trustlist' or similar, because then scum know they only need to manipulate one person to get the benefits of manipulating two! Alternatively: You are scum and you're trying to buddy up with prominent town players.

But no matter what, stick to scumlists guys! Comment on townness ONLY if it looks like that person is maybe gonna get lynched.

I'm sorry, guys. I'll listen to Kai and not blindly follow him. I'll make my own choices while taking his into consideration only. I'm sorry, jwlk, Fen and Kai.

Fen: It stems from me lacking the time I had for tinyhunt, so I'm not doing a spreadsheet either. (yes, Kai, I know I told you I did a spreadsheet on IRC but I gave that up rather soon because I got too busy) Without the organisation my brain is going around in circles and that frustrates me. I didn't want a mental breakdown like for the original tinyhunt, so I decided to be lazy, and post that, also to test the waters since Kai and Klackerz seem to be holding different opinions (I'll probably end up having to choose between them anyway) but yeah.

This line basically makes me being totally devoted to following Kai improbable since you, klackerz, kai and Fiat can't all have the same opinion unless it becomes extremely obvious that you guys are witches. (Or, someone else becomes extremely confirmed to be witch)

But Fen, Kai, thanks for proving once again why you guys are so experienced and trustworthy. You guys, despite being offered the choice of an extra vote, turned it down.

    Edit: Mistyped extremely

Basically what I just said -_-, albeit with a less personal commentary, to make it into a generalized message. Thanks, I guess.

Edit: @Irene: Yeah, I personally haven't felt the desire to make a daily-updated spreadsheet for a similar reason. It might likely be a helpful too, but is it worth the effort? ...eh, debatable.
Instead, I just generally try to keep track of things as best I can, while looking back at previous pages as necessary.

Actually, jwlk, if you do the number crunching (yes i'm a math nut), all of them being witches is exceedingly small, you're correct.

However, that doesn't mean some of them can't be witches. Again, do the number crunching, the percentage is actually decent enough to cause anyone to think twice.

That said, I too don't know the reason for Irene's post.

PS i only have about 8 hours left online. Then i have to be off for the rest of day's duration. D:

Ah, I shouldn't be staying up so late, but it is the weekend. Anyway, I almost forgot, but I said I would before I went to sleep:
    Deadline Vote: Aziraphale
(Depending on your supposed 'reasons'. It's really a toss-up between you and Lungs being voted upon, but we'll see.)

Argh, being in the opposite timezone to everyone else is annoying.

Here are the people who stand out to me so far: Pyracrys, Irene, Lungs.

Irene: honestly, the reason I'm most suspicious of her right now is that she sounds like she has a plan. She does something unexpected by saying that she'll vote in alignment with certain players - here she tries to hide behind other players so she won't be held responsible for who she votes for. If she's genuine, that's a bad idea - we need independent thinkers, and just blindly following is never a bad idea. As a witch, she could be trying to absolve herself if things go wrong by having an excuse known, and by echoing pro-town players attempt to look unsuspicious.

Erm, I've run out of time, so I'll post my QT notes on her and get back to explaining the others after I get back:

"Actually, I'd disregard the lurkers. There's something fishy behind Ashaya's bandwagon, the witches are probably involved, so I'd actually think of the more vocal people."
So she's trying to get people lynched, calling attention to the people who are the loudest. 'Something fishy behind the bandwagon'? Really? Not that we have to bandwagon in order to choose someone, and Ashaya makes a good choice because she wants it - not to mention that the priest is going to check on her.
"Witches like to hide in bandwagons. Which is why I'm reluctant to start one/suggest any names. I'll follow Kai in the end, maybe."
    Still fishy.

Obviously I'm including the main lynch candidates in my list of who is standing out and who I am considering putting the lynch vote for. But I don't have time to go into that now, back later.

Palindrome: You neglect a point. I'd be a stupid witch to do that and draw so much attention to myself and we've established witches like to echo pro-town players, I said it myself, so why would I do the exact same thing if I'm a witch?

Palindrome, I am disappoint. I would explain everything else but I just want to say, sometimes things should be taken just at face value. I over-read a lot in tinyhunt and made that mistake. I know in this game it is hard to trust anyone and everyone, but I'm asking you to give me a chance.

Klackerz: I thought we're giving Aziraphale and Lungs time to get back from RL commitments to defend themselves?

    EDIT: Giving more information

Goody, I'm back. Sorry for pointing you out Irene - I'm not accusing you, just having a think over it.

So, onto Pyracrys - I don't think I have anything solid for him, but the tone of his posts feel odd. Sometimes the wording stands out to me; like calling the bad scenario of no-lynch no-judge 'neutral'. It feels like he's being careful about what he says, and what he's trying to make us think by his posts.

Lungs: Very difficult to get a read on him. He seems a little different here than when he was playing the last game. His first move was to lump vote himself - and he gave no reason for it. Maybe you can answer why you wanted lump, Lungs?

Aziraphale: Not many things he's said have stood out so far. Considering his past game history, I don't think any lurker-ness he has is going to be particularly indicative of being a witch. Only thing I've got written for him is that he voted to lynch Ashaya after she received lump. That just seems silly considering that the priest is going to check her. But overall, he seems to be helpful and more thoughtful than many others. I'm not quite sure why he's been labeled 'lurker' so quickly, considering the game has hardly started. Plus, I'm pretty sure the witches would avoid trying the lurker tactics again after Rehio was killed because of this.

Because of that, I won't vote for Aziraphale.

Happy to remove this vote if you post good later! Just removing the vote on lungs since that isn't going anywhere.

Okay, don't know how to multiquote (could someone teach me? >.<) so just for the record, I'm answering Klackerz's suspicion too.

I called the situation 'neutral' because to me, without a judgelynch in the event of a non-majority vote, its kind of hard to determine who is who for that round. Of course referencing to tinyhunt 1, the judge got killed for metagame reasons i believe. I still don't know if that was dumb luck or what, but I admit it does hurt us if judge dies.

Apart from that, I'm new to this. Doesn't mean I'm dumb, it means i'm just playing it for the first time. Kai posed that question to the new players, i was just giving my opinion on it.

On another note, I'm not rescinding my vote yet. Still want Azira to say something.

Mm, it's not a wrong answer, and it's not a conspicuous answer. But fair enough on the reasoning.

To multiquote you press the white ("") icon to the right of quote - it will turn red. You can click as many as you want, even outside of whatever thread you're multiquoting in. When you use advance reply or click on the standard quote button all the quotes will appear.
