Night Three has fallen​

As we all are about to go to sleep for the night, a nameless villager comes up to me. Apparently a ship landed briefly and dropped off a package before taking off into the night. Shortly after, the security guards on the space port were all found murdered by high caliber laser fire. An Assassin Droid now roams amongst us.

May the force protect us all.

Day Four has dawned.

The sun rose over a tense Varykino.

As I exited my home, I could tell by the look on the faces of my fellow townspeople: someone had died last night. I was led to the home of the deceased to identify the body.

Quickly, I discovered that Jwlk had been killed. There were definite signs of a struggle, and the final blow had been a cowardly shot to the back. From the size of the burn, it had clearly been left by a small Blaster Pistol. I attempted to identify who he was....

On his body was a small medalion, showing us all that he was a minor member of the Jedi Order! Jwlk was the Jedi Healer!

Okay, I was pretty busy studying for a Monday test after last night, so I'm only just getting to going back through the thread to look for connections. While I do that... and eat dinner... Does anyone else that is preferably innocent have any useful conclusions?

Also, in a big surprise to me, this game is failing harder than the last one I was in.

 

I was away and missed the KaiDASH/Custer battle, but Jesus. Now you know why I was reluctant to lynch KaiDASH? His constant calls for the HRD should have made it clear that perhaps his role-claim was real. He wanted an extra day to scout. A night without kills is good for the town. >.<;;

Still very confused, though. Specifically, the AWOL Renegade is really confounding me. Why hasn't anybody been Renegade-killed yet? =O

I believe I can answer that question! That's because I, the Falleen Slave have been role-blocking the fuck out of him. Night 2, I chose someone, and was surprised to see no Renegade kill the next day. Suspicious of this, I role-blocked them again last night, and no Night Kill.

You may be puzzled as to why there was no Assassin kill last night as well. Well, I shared my suspicions with my fellow scum, and they kindly agreed to test this theory out with me. Our Assassin took a shot at this person, but failed.

Now, I know that he can't possibly have been protected by the Healer, because Sin kills pierce protection. And it can't have been the Handmaiden, elsewise Vesvius would've publicly declared it. If it wasn't human ingenuity, and it wasn't the Light Side of the Force, it was the Dark Side of the Force.

Besides my own interest in living, there are multiple reasons for slaying the Renegade over myself.

1. You take this from a 3 faction witchhunt back to a 2 faction witchhunt.
2. Instead of having to worry about 3 deaths tonight [since the single NK implies a tainting as opposed to a kill] you can worry about 2.
3. You know where one of the scum is, and can attempt to use that when the Seer takes guesses.

I say this not as a Scum trying to win, but as a slave somehow living in the Republic: Beware your Scribblers, they can be quite Serious.

Three things:

1. Custer, If you were trying to get Scrib killed as a supposed Renegade(as your intentionally unsubtle word choice would imply), why not put a vote onto him?

2. Again at Custer... and causes me to easily doubt your words. It would be against your Separatist's side's best interests to reveal that you have used up one of your two Assassin Kill attempts. Also, revealing your strategies in general, although I will point out one(maybe two) flaw(s) in your strategy.
The Jedi Master may have incidentally switched your target with either the Sith Lord or the Renegade, thus giving the illusion of Night Kill protection. Also, there is the possibility that the Healer cleansed the Renegade on either Night 1 or 2, and with the Healer dead we can not know who he may have targeted. Short of the Renegade revealing themselves for sure, we don't know. We also have little reason to take you at your word, given the circumstances.
Although, yes, it is of course true that going to two factions instead of three is for the best.

...Yes, well... I blanked on Serious Scribble = Sesc, as I barely knew that in a seen-long-ago passing sense. So, I took the "Scrib" portion and ran with that. Not everyone remembers others' pen-names.

It still doesn't invalidate my second point, and why I would doubt your words anyway.

If only we could lynch one and role-block the other, but we can't, nor can we role-switch him using our Master because we don't know another power-role.

Fuck. If we lynch Custer and we are wrong about Sesc being depowered, then we could open ourselves up to three deaths tomorrow.

It all depends on how much we're willing to trust a self-admitted Separatist. If they really did take a shot at him last night and failed then he couldn't have been depowered could he (unless Jwlk healed him after, srsly how are these night actions prioritized?), he was still the Renegade.

So.... we stand at a crossroads. We can play it safe and lynch Custer or go for Sesc. Thoughts? I'm fucking stumped here.
