These are two of my favorite stories because they show Harry in a completely different light. Funny, Playful, lighthearted, and joking around.

Does anyone know of similar stories? The only request I have is no slash.

Edit :: Another one I enjoyed was Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality, but after Harry got into Hogwarts that one wasn't as good.

Damn - To find similar fics I was about to recommend the FF.net Recommendation Engine and noticed only now that's been down for a while now.

There are a few similar fics, even in our library. Though similar also means 'of the same quality'.

Thanks! I already read the sequel and it wasn't as good as the first one, it seemed rushed and not well planned.

 

Growing Up Kneazle would fit. The Ginny/Harry pairing here might be hard to bear but because of its Kneazle perspective it has some unique funny situations. If somebody likes Thief it's worth a try.

 

I enjoyed this one, and the 'A Natural Animagus' which is basically the plot idea.

I just started Blazing Goblet. On chapter two. It is very lighthearted and an easy read. The scene at chapter one with Harry and his iPod made me go :/ then it's explained as Sirius spoiling him with clothes, an iPod and weed. The best Godfather I know. :tear:

I wasn't raised in that environment (totally would have loved it) but it's believable enough for me considering some of my dealers told me of how their parents would smoke them out as teens and shit.

Also, best lighthearted shit: Nonjon. If you haven't yet (which is just lol).

I don't know any others.

 

Except iPods weren't around in the '90's.
