I came across this fic when I had just started reading fanfiction a few years ago. I was still a newbie and had not yet created a account, so I could not put it on my story alert list. Unfortunately, I forgot the name a few minutes after I read it and cannot for the life of me remember what that fucker was called.

It was a Harry Potter/Naruto crossover. It was Harry who got into Konohagakures Forest of Death via a failed ritual by Draco Malfoy or some former Death Eater to summon or bind Jashin, that God of torture and death from Naruto fandom. Harry bitched slapped a few generic minions around when he got there and met Naruto almost immediately. Naruto and Harry could not understand each other. It had good grammar and seemed interesting. I checked the Naruto/Harry Potter archive and it was not there. I also tried key words on the search feature on FF.net but it did not turn up. Help please?

WHY would you want to read a Harry Potter/Naruto crossover, in the first place?

 

Because I was a newbie and had no idea where the good fics were. I enjoy both fandoms separately, so why not try them together? As for my desire to read it now, I enjoyed it at the time and wish to see what happened to it. Besides, just because the majority of HP/Naruto crossovers are shit does not mean that the few that are decent aren't worth reading. They don't blend very well, so it takes a skilled writer to do a crossover worth reading: something that the majority of writers on FF.net most definitely are not. As for your obvious but unspoken derision, who are you: the enjoyment police? Fuck off.
