    Anivia is freaking difficult to play well. Hell, she was considered awful for the longest time until one of the better players in the game took her and basically showed people she actually is playable (and dominating).

    She has a very high skill curve, though, so expect to take time to learn her.

    Fizz is crazy good. Lots of fun effects and no one expects the pole in a crucial last-attack moment.

    Ulti AOE is a bit small though, so watch out for that. Crazy-long range makes up for it.

    Also, don't think his Q is weak just because it has low base. Remember it adds your AD onto it and converts it all into magic.

    To people who play Dominion, be careful about the pole in top point fights. Q and Playful/Trickster won't get you over the small wall to the healing buff.

    How do you guys feel about Surge? I think that spell just made Kayle OP :p I got a double kill in beginning in beginning dropping both of them from full health. Masteries movement speed + Ghost to outspeed them, surge, and blast them away with sword. After that (I was laning with a Caitlyn), every time they land on a trap it's gg. But of course, the players i played against may have just been stupid. They should've known after the third time there are traps in the bush :/

    Most likely slight nerfs at most. While he does a lot of damage and move a lot, he really doesn't have much in terms of survivability once he does get caught.

    And Shyvana isn't acceptable. She's actually below average unless you have an exceptional team.

    It's taking me some time to adapt to these new mastery trees. I'm always so tempted to go a full 21 in one tree, but now that's not as encouraged as the benefits from devoting that many points to one tree isn't that worth it anymore. It'll be interesting to see what interesting paths I can get away with.

    I love the new utility tree. The bonus gold and gp/10 are nice. The new defense tree, I like it, but I miss dodge and nimbleness. I already removed my dodge seals from the rune pages that had it lol. The new offense tree is nice though. I like that there is more armor pen in there now.

    Haven't seen Fizz much, but people have banned him in each of the last two matches I played.

    Oh and 6 Bans in ranked, and I guess draft mode, is awesome.

    I haven't gotten to test Fizz out really, just a few practice games before class because I was trying to study for a test. Realistically, he will likely get buffs to his survivability or damage followed by sweeping nerfs.

    I like passive speed buff when it goes active, combined with the boots that give +5 movement speed if you havent been in combat. I pop in, throw the blind dart, start bashing them with the 2 attacks a second passive poisons and on hits, they can't out run me, if they get close I pop exhaust and ignite, rinse repeat.

    That being said, I got wtfpwnt by morganna multiple games in a row until I stacked magic d. That black puddle of goo shut me down. I'd die to that plus some sort of nuke inside of 2 seconds.

    I main Anivia and absolutely love her, I dont know why people think shes hard to play though, once you play a few games shes easy as to play.

    Start out with your Q/flash frost ( max 2nd), a skill shot with the ability to stun ( can trigger it by pushing q again ) at the end of its path. Saphire crystal and 2 health pots.

    Head to middle lane, you want lvl 6 asap. Just keep your distance until lvl you reach level 2 and then invest a point in your E/frostbite skill (max this first). Use this skill after you use you flast frost as flast frost aswell as your ult causes them to become "chilled" (move slower ) when the enemy is "chilled" frost bite does double damage to them.

    at level 5 grab one point in her W. its a wall skill thats gets bigger with each level and enables you to at higher levels block off jungle routes for a short time enabling you to seperate enemy players from each other such as keep the support away from the team fight. Max this last.

    Keep harassing with your Q/E combo until lvl 6. Once you have glacial storm farm middle with it until you have the gold ( 925 ) for catalyst the protector and boots ( 350 ) although just going back for your catalyst is fine. Grab blue and head back to mid and play aggressive. If you can Kill the enemy or force them to go back to base quickly clear the middle lane and push to the tower for your creeps and head off to gank either bot or top. Only gank once you have your ult.

    If in a Team fight always hang back until someone else initiates, your very squishy. Attack and stun them with Q and drop you R down under them then hit them with a frostbite, they should be 2x or even "3x chilled" so the damage is rather large, also drop a wall behind their most likely escape path forcing them to run around it and stay in your R for longer. Keep chasing and hit again with your E when off CD and generally they're either dead or close to it. Her ult chews mana so dam fast but with blue up you can keep it basically spammed. Get blue EVERY time its off cooldown, hell if your off to gank bot stop in on their blue and steal it if you have the time.

    I build her for massive damage output and tricky survivability in endgame. Her passive allows her to turn into and egg with full hp upon death. for 3 seconds the egg cant move or anything and if the enemy doesnt kill you you come back to life. with whatever health the egg had. This passive along with guardian angel is amazing endgame. Nothing pisses people off like having a massive aoe mage dealing out huge damage that has to be killed 3 times before she goes down.

    Core Items I use are Rabadons deathcap, sorcerors shoes, rod of aeges and morellos evil tomb, archangels staff and guardian angel. Ill switch out for spell pen items if I need them against enemy team comps.

    I use clarity and flash for summoners spells. Clarity because she really is that much of a mana whore and flash to counter when people try to gank and to make up for her slow movement speed.

    Just had a 9-0-4 game with her. enemy surrendered at 20. Loving the new mastery trees

    Me and TSN played against the hard bots and I got a low kill/d ratio, but we played against level 20-30 peeps and I got wtf raped.

    What's the stance on killstealing? I get bitched at that alot when Teemo's poison or the shrooms finish people off, rather annoying. If the damned enemy is dead stfu, or is there a code of ethics here?

    KS callers can go fuck themselves. The one of the only times it is even close to warranted is if the carry can 100% secure that kill and you tag it.

    The other is when you literally camp a bush and wait for your ally to die then get a kill blow. That's just stupid and shitty team play.


    Right, so we now can have 20 rune pages. I'm debating whether I should bump my page count from 11 to 18. Only real use I have for them is specialization pages, like Shaco Jungle, Rammus speed jungle, Trynd Crit pages, and others like that.

    To buy or no? 2.6k RP right there.

    Also, on Fizz. Full AP page + 30 in offense masteries + Lich Bane rush = stupidly-high early game damage that lets you snowball like mad. be careful about dodge champions becasue they CAN dodge the physical portion of your Q.

    Don't waste it. A lot of champions are generic enough that a few rune pages cover them- Fuck a lot of them just vary on Quint preference. Unless you play a bunch of heros like Akali or Singed who do a lot better with their own specialized rune page, just save your rp for the skin sales and buy cool skins on the cheap : )

    I get by on 4 pages easily.
    Kill stealing is generally 'kill secured'. Yesterday though, I was playing as fizz vs Annie mid, and riven ganks. Wukong is nearby and counter ganks. I've nearly killed annie and she flashes away to her turret. Riven is fighting me so wukong comes in. He hits her and hits her and I hit her and shit goes down. Since I already had Rod and giants belt, I was pretty beefy so riven switches to wukong. Wukong gets to half hp, and riven is nearly dead. Her shield is down, she is at 15% hp with my super-dot and ignite on her. Her HP is ticking down at 5% a half second. Wukong, instead of giving the kill to me, the ap carry that is already 3-1 with the highest farm in the game, tries to take the kill and dives riven into the turret. Annie, who was sitting there the whole time, Q-->W stuns him, ignites him, and the tower picks him off.

    That is a killsteal, for sure. The only reason to follow into that turret was to take the kill from me. He already had an assist, and the kill was 100% guaranteed. It's also a lesson in why true killsteals are bad. Instead of trading 1 kill 1 assist for free, we traded 1 kill 1 assist for 1 kill 1 assist. In addition to that, if he had not chased into the turret like a feces-flinging retard, he could have proceeded to clear riven's jungle of a few creeps, giving him a huge advantage on riven. Both of them were level 6/7, and if he hadn't dived, Riven would have been set behind and wukong wouldve surged forward with a significant gold and experience advantage.

    Correct me if I'm wrong as I don't use mobility boots often, but doesn't the +5 movement speed drop down to +2 as soon as you attack? In that case, unless you are roaming around the map a lot, the +3 boots of swiftness would be a better choice (if going for speed during fights).

    Boots of mobility cancel the first time you attack or take damage of any kind besides ability costs.

    Boots 3 are a noob trap, and should never, in any situation, be purchased.

    Movement 1 gives a flat 50 speed. Total of 50 added to your base.
    Movement 2 gives movement 1+20. Total of 70 added to your base.
    Movement 3 gives movement 2+20. Total of 90 added to your base.
    Movement 5 gives movement 3+40. Total of 130 added to your base.

    This 20 MS will never be worth the 35% cc reduction, 25% attackspeed, 20 spellpen, 15% cd reduction, 12% dodge, or movement 5 you give up.

    Boots 5 are a noob trap as well. Boots 5 are a niche item for gankers and roamers. Very few characters make use of them well, and very few people realize that nearly without exception, they should be sold past the 25 minute mark.

    Brief synopsis is that (base movement+flat movement buffs)*% movement*%slows. Anything above 415 ms is reduced to 80% efficiency, so 435 speed gets reduced by 4. Anything above 490 is reduced by 50%.

    If you have a 20% movement speed increase and a 20% slow, your net speed will decrease, not remain even.

    I've been using them to great effect in running up, turning tail, and then leading the enemy champs into mushroom fields, as well as just running up to them or just past them before attacking and cancelling the extra speed. I get rid of them later on as my run buff gets higher, but I've had fun with them
