I actually didn't think Lochness was scum... and I still don't, probably. It's just that she's not even considering the possibility of Gambit being scum and that's troubling since scum knows what everyone is. It's also kind of ironic that you're the one accusing me of "eagerly" pointing fingers at her, seeing that you did that at the end of day 1 when she refused to vote (I don't know if you were serious, though).

As for the mistake, it was a honest derp. I was very busy at the time and I didn't check the deadline. I made my post, saw that while I did others had ninjaed me, and that one of them was Eido saying there were 6 minutes left, and I was too late when I tried to beat the clock.

Crucially, I pointed my finger at Lochness before she made a quite reasonable post explaining her position, not after.

I'm not saying OMG STOJIL IS SCUM FOR SURE. Just, you know.

    I'm watching you.

The problem is that we don't know that Ollie is town, any more than we did yesterday. We can't look at any sort of voting patterns because he's not confirmed either way. The lack of a lynch means that we are basically where we were at the start of the game, but missing one of our most important players. We've basically just given the scum a headstart.

And as we're no further on then we were yesterday, we really need to get more people in here talking.

Hey everyone, I've read the thread so far, and while I've got scum vibes from a few people, there's no one to publicly point out. Only person I feel comfortable voting for so far is Eido, but I still want to see what he has to say today.

Stojil, while I personally find no problem with alive players thumbs upping a post, this thread mentions it as something that should be considered a no-no. Like I said, I think that it should be fine if you are alive, but well, we should have some sort of set standard. I'm just mentioning it because perhaps you hadn't seen that particular thread.

I didn't know about that and I remember doing it in other games as well (of course when alive). Anyway, I removed it (for reference and fairness, it was Taure's last post). If that's not enough, Zeitgeist can take the measure he prefers. If it's a rule, I have no problem with him enforcing it, and for what matters, sorry.

    Ok, bad start.
I'm getting scum vibes from half the posters, and because I can't really explain them I keep second guessing myself. I have no idea who to lynch. Maybe after more have posted.

Right now, I'm eying both Ollie and Lochness. Ollie's only post today is vague and seems like he's trying to stay out of the spotlight. This could mean he's either scum or an important role. For Lochness, she's just really hanging on to her defense of Ollie. However, I do think scum wouldn't defend other scum so blatantly like she's doing, so I dunno.

Did you people even read the thread? We had ~7-8 hours remaining for a lynch, and the only person that had said anything that remotely resembled a scum slip was Ollie. Go re-read my post #67 if you want the case against him. It's not an amazing case, but it's still more than anyone has against them, because we didn't lynch day one, and we have no information to go on.

I'd be perfectly fine with cramming another lynch down Ollie's throat, lynching Vira for the immediate 'oh, looks like they just picked someone at random' thing, or Naeblis for...everything he's said, pretty much.

But the day length is so incredibly short that we don't even have time for discussion. It's randomly pick someone and pray enough people check the thread so that a lynch goes through. Bleh.

As for LochNess... I don't know. I probably don't think she's scum, because she's not stupid, and refusing to put the hammer down on your teammate when you could have would... be really stupid. It's probably just some hilariously ironic white knighting.

Stojil could be scum, and he's leaning that way a tiny bit more than null for me - but not because of the last minute vote shenanigans. He did try to change it.

Ironically, one of the only people whose posts I like in this game is Ashaya, who I normally want dead dead dead from game start, town or scum.

Now that I've taken some of my exasperation at no lynches and short days out on people I'd like to lynch, I'll respond to this from LochNess, and try to explain:

The thing is, that while he may very well be a vanilla townie, we still don't know that. So a day passes, and one of our number dies, and we are in the same position that we were. If he had flipped and was proven as a vanilla townie, we could go through the people that voted for him, and appeared to be hopping on the bandwagon with little explanation, or because 'Hey, cool, they're killing a townie. I'm down.'

It's not much information, but it's a lot more information than we have without a confirmed flip. Now we're just flailing around and pointing fingers like a second day one, without anything to really analyze. And one of the key roles in keeping the Cop able to function... dead.

How many hours do we have left? I'm perfectly fine with lynching Ollie as this will also impact how we see Lochness. If Ollie is scum, it's quite possible that Lochness is too, and if he's innocent, then she might have access to information we don't (or is doing a weird white knight thing, like Eid said). Either way, I think Ollie is our best bet.

Day length does seem rather short. Definitely gonna be hard to get a majority vote.

The people I'm even remotely suspicious of (besides, like, everyone) are Vira, Ash, Eido and maybe Taure.

Ollie is on my list, and, as far as I'm concerned, so is LochNess. Either both or neither are scum, but I think Both is more likely.

Yeah, I'm not used to such short days and it's a bit crippling (last minute mess aside). I think Gambit's role-flip would give us more info to work with, but I don't think he's scum. Eido's role-flip wouldn't be as good a source but it wouldn't be bad, and he's at the very top of my scum-list at the moment, mostly because of Gambit, admittedly.

    Vote Player: Eidolonic

Lurking is going to be the end of us, but we don't even have time to threaten them with lynchwagons and actually lynching them wouldn't give us any information.

Jeram, Aekiel, hgf: who are you suspicious of and why?

Basically, you think I'm scum... because I was the only person that tried to make a reasonable case for a lynch target, and pushed for it? Over, say... randomly voting for someone and lurking with the mess of other lurking lurkers and having no attention put on myself.

You're smarter than this, Stojil. You know I'll get checked, considering I'm the most vocal player in this game by significant amounts. Make a case against someone where there is actually something they've done that hasn't helped town.

Okay, I think we got about twelve hours left. Since we didn't get a lynch last time, we should start voting now.

    Vote Player: Gambit.

We can always rescind our votes later, but for now, let's try to get something down.

I'm not really getting a "scum" vibe from Gambit, he seems clean. A bit suspicious behavior from nearly everyone, although Eido is a bit "jump the gun", I guess. That's not much to go on. Taure is more blatantly antagonistic, which could either be a smokescreen for scumminess or a smokescreen for non-scumminess. He's angry, is what I'm saying. Republic is doing the "yeah, I'm asleep" excuse, which may or may not be legitimate.

Stojil and Ash are either anti-lurkers or scums. I could see it either way, but I'm pretty terrible at this game. And as for Lochness, either she's being "Probey" and thus knows Gambit is clean, or she knows he's scum and wants to protect him for some reason, or isn't the Probe at all and just thinks Gambit is clean. Or she's scum and so is he. Hard to say.

I can get behind this Vote Player: Eidolonic

If it walks like a duck, if it looks like a duck, and it screams "Down with the Rebellion" it's probably a stormtrooper.

I'm most suspicious of Stojil, and I'm going to place my vote on him. I have hours till I go to sleep, and I will be awake early tomorrow, so no worries on that front.

    Ollie.

If you actually believe that logic.

    You'd be lynching yourself.

No, I'm voting for you because you were too aggressive.

@Vira's earlier statement: I'm very busy with some irl stuff, while I have plenty of time to play, I wasn't free yet but wanted to check in.

Ash if a wagon starts on Eido will you join in?
