I'm fairly confident that a number of you are familiar with the SCP Foundation phenomenon. For those that aren't, think X-Files/Warehouse 13 with all the family-friendly happy endings stripped out. The original SCP and arguably most famous one you'll probably recognize as very similar to the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who - SCP 173.



Well, now there's a game featuring everypony's favourite rebar-and-concrete entity. SCP: Containment Breach. Still in alpha, so it just has 173, 106, 895 and 914, but it's already giving me the willies.

I am quite sad at that site. I was ready to call that site amazing with the examples you have given me, but then I started to see random other samples and they are just horribly made bland creatures.

The game itself though, hell. If it only takes the best creatures on that site, well damn it is looking nice.

 

A lot of them are terrible, but Sturgeon's law is universal, SoTK. A great deal of them are genuinely interesting and/or scary.

 

Oh God. Oh God. Oh God.
