I'm fairly into Civ V at the moment but I've never played any Civ as a multiplayer game, so I figured I'd see if there was any interest.

The ideal would be 4-6 players, separated into two teams (with a third AI team to balance it out), or three teams of two human players, but I'd settle for 2v2.

Play time would be on Saturdays because that's the only time I can get enough free time to play a game like this.

So, anyone in?

 

I've actually been playing a few games with Poytin and it's been pretty fun so far, so sign me up.

 

As much as I love Civ, I'm generally busy on Saturdays so I can't play. If it was on Sunday I'd be all over it.

 

Got my RPG running on Sundays so no good, I'm afraid.

 

Like Mishie said I play Civ V fairly heavily so I'm up for a game at any time.

Also remember that you don't have to beat games in one session. If it's a mutual group and everyone knows each other games can be saved and continue from where they left off.

 

what is the timezone? I have class saturday morning, but the afternoon might be fun.

I'm GMT, but I'm good for any time on Saturdays.

As I said, I can't do Sundays. I run an RPG group on that day and it takes up the vast majority of my time.

 

I would be interested in this, but as I mentioned, I unfortunately have class Saturday morning. Google is saying it is 7:20 over in England right now, so I would say 8:00 p.m gmt would work for me. But it seems like you have a decent amount of interest, so if it is to late for you go ahead without me.

 

I'm INTERESTED as I have Civ 5, but I don't have the expansion. If we play with no DLC I'm in, especially on weekends and evenings.

 

That time is fine for me. Less chance of being interrupted mid-game for me too.

TMNTurtwig and Jeram are good for Sundays, and Don E. Delivery is good for either if he gets the G&K expansion (seriously dude, you have to get it. It's a major improvement on vanilla).
