Basically I was wondering if a fic existed where Voldemort is employed by special operations group to destroy the government.

For example USA's wizards want Britain's wizarding community for themselves and they help Voldemort to takeover and basically he is their puppet in England. Harry of-course finds this conspiracy and does something about it, maybe even Voldemort rebels against conspirators and helps Harry

It's a pretty gay post and subject line, OP. It's not just the idea that's bad, it's the way you wrote it. Can I assume that English isn't your first language? Either that or literacy standards for 18 year olds are way below where they should be. Your geographical knowledge seems to be lacking given that you used Britain and England interchangeably. Most of the HP story takes place in Scotland, far to the north of London and England.

Prince of the Dark Kingdom is an excellent fic - opinions on DLP were very polarised, so while it made it to the Library, it's not our usual style of story. Rather than being the agent of a foreign power, Voldemort is the agent of druidic magic and the old gods. Political conspiracies abound, but Voldemort isn't any human's pawn. Certainly not any C.I.A. - Ugh. I feel like stupider just for writing "C.I.A" in reference to a HP fic. - agent.

Actually, that reminds me of something. I do remember one HP fic which involved the C.I.A., or more specifically, the N.I.A. [a C.I.A. sub-org in real life]. Out of the West tries to scifi Harry Potter by having a bunch of U.S. gov controlled psychics stumble upon the Wizarding World. It's pretty much entirely OCs, and much of the story takes place in the USA, though eventually the protagonist makes it to Britain to "save the day". Harry is at most a supporting character and doesn't appear until the last half of the story. Voldemort barely shows his face. I can't think of a story which comes closer to what you literally asked for. I liked the original characters and scifi setup which Larry Huss wrote about more than the story's HP elements.

 

Well, I'll be frank I didn't put alot of thought in the first Post. I do know about Geography. I'm originally from Russia and alot of people there, still call Britain England so it badly leaked into my post.

You didn't do anything wrong per se, but asking for conspiracy fics in that manner just puts peoples backs up. I can't see your example ending up as anything readable at all.

 

Nothing that can be Deus Ex plot wise? I beleive Deus Ex had a strong conspiracy plot, can't something like that be done in Harry Potter? Illuminati and the like?

And, OP, it's not asking for a conspiracy fic that was the mistake, it was trying to tie the CIA into it etc, the example. It just comes across as dumb.

I wouldn't have any faith in a fic that stated the CIA was controlling Voldemort. The premise is just downright unbelievable.

 

The mention of conspiracy brought to mind The Strange Disappearance of Sally-Anne Perks.

 

I don't know of any massive U.S. government conspiracy stories of the sort you are seeking, ones where Voldemort is a cat's paw.

You could try stories with 'conspiracy' in the name, such as darklordmike's The Potter Conspiracy.

There are plenty of other conspiracy/secret society stories. For instance, Larry Huss's Out of the West has a parallel mutant development/secret agency thing apart from the magical world. Many crossovers (particularly ones with X-Men or Avengers) have similar kinds of things. Also, Tinn Tam's excellent Song of the Trees has a sense about it of deeper mystery and conspiracy.
