I think it's ridiculous to complain about the game. I understand people complaining about Fable 3 not living up to the hype, or ME3 destroying a great franchise, or actively petitioning day one DLC, DRM, etc.

But a game like LoL? It's free to play and if you don't like it, don't play it. Play the dying DotA franchise or the dead HoN instead. LoL lacks a lot of the features DOTA2 has provided its players since the beginning? Go fucking play that then. It's a shit game, in my opinion, and the opinion of a whole fucking lot of people is that it isn't as good as LoL, despite all its wonderful features. Because REPLAYS make a game fun. Whatever, just don't make long posts about how much you hate LoL in response to someone talking about the viability of a champion.

I think a lot of your points are absurd. Especially since most if not all of your complaints are stemming from the fact that you are talking about solo-queue. You know? Pick-up-games. Meaningless shit.

All symptoms of solo-queue, which is not a true measure of the game. People play defensively because they don't know who they are playing with or against, people take the safe bet instead of being risky because that's human fucking nature.

Also, I feel that some of the points you raise indicate that you are either bad at/un-knowledgeable about the game. The only way to deny exp is to kill outright? If you're strong enough to zone them, you deny exp. If you're not strong enough to zone them, why should you be able to? If you gank and get flash, you come back and gank again. Ganks often get them low enough that staying at tower is a guaranteed kill, which forces them back and denies them anyway.

Seriously though, whatever. Your opinions are fine for you to have, but just stop playing the fucking game if its so wrong, imbalanced, broken, unintuitive, and unfun.

Finally, Irelia was too strong, don't kid yourself.

LoL being free doesn't make it immune to criticism either, in the future, I could see a lot of games going "free", but we can't let the quality of games decline just because they are chosing a new method of business. We can't be fooled by the illusion of it being "free" - people are still paying for this game; there's no reason why it shouldn't be a good game on its own merits. I dropped $50 on this game when it came out to boot; I supported it. I think I'm "entitled" to be critical of it.

Also you never mentioned zoning, you think Irelia "wasn't too strong" because ap, ad, true damage, cc, sustain, gap closer, and built in tenacity on one kit was fine, and you said Alistar single-handedly fucks up teams. Yea, rereading your posts? You're full of shit and don't know anything about game balance or strategy.

Blitz usually auto-picked if he's left open since it'd take an amazing idiot to fail at him, unlike with Thresh and Lulu.

I mean. it's a simple as fuck flow chart on blitz.

Yes -> Press E and auto them then spam all skills.

No -> Back off and wait for Q CD.

You literally can't fail as blitz as long as you land a grab occasionally and don't 100% grab the tank every time.

Rest of Blitz is standard support play.

 

I'm with Bill Door, Irelia never deserved to be bludgeoned repeatedly with the nerf bat. Her skin is too delicate.

Also, not every unique/successful strategy is taken out of play. Take Thresh for example, I know plenty of Thresh players who don't use their Q to grab a jungle camp and swing themselves over a wall or don't use their W to save an ally right as you flash over dragon enclosure (Which I've done, and it feels awesome as you save a life in style). And some things deserve to be patched out, like AP Trynd and how strong he was in lane. He still can be strong, but now his sustain isn't satanic in power.

 

Lol DOTA 2. That game makes me want to reinstall Warcraft 3 and go play classic DotA on some local server... yeah its a lost opportunity for Steam. Enough said about that.

liandry on singe is murder.

 

For Singed I get the armor boots, Liandry's, tear( and later that item that give a % of your mana as AP >_>), Sunfire cape, veil and last items depending upon the situation.

HEAL AND IGNITE OF COURSE.

 

I mean you always rush a RoA, it's singed. But getting a tear after a catalyst can give you a nice boost, and the sooner the better.
