    Whenever I search for a new story to read, I spent mind numbing hours scrolling through FFN or checking out the DLP archives, and while every now and then I find a lost/hidden gem, its less and less likely as time goes on.

    FFN and DLP are the two main sites I use, but I know theres many others out there that are sure to have quality work. So I'm going to start searching through them, but to save some time, is there any decent/great stories that anyone has read that aren't on FFN or DLP (Patronus Charm)?

    Archive of our Own has some stories that don't get posted on FFN, and some of them are good. No HP ones come immediately to mind, but there's some decent Sherlock fanfic over there that I haven't seen elsewhere.

    It's a place to check, at any rate. Though there is still a lot of crap (and slash) to shift through to find anything.

    AO3 has some decent ASoIaF stories that haven't made it to FFN.
