I don't know if I watch any of these at all - I didn't have any time this season and need to catch up with some stuff first.

 

Space Dandy: with the hype it's getting (broadcasted on toonami with english dub at the same time as japan) I can't not watch it. Cowboy Bebop's director doesn't hurt either.

Sakura Trick: Don't need a reason. AOTC.

Noragami: I always watch Bones' stuff.

Tonari no seki-kun: the manga is hilarious. Hopefully the anime is as good.

Nisekoi: Will watch it because it's shaft doing it.

Seitokai Yukindomo: Also hilarious. Sex jokes everywhere!

 

I read the Nisekoi manga, so I'm def gonna watch the anime. The rest looks like shit.

 

I saw an anime titled "To Aru" and thought it was finally going to be more Imagine Breaker. But nope, it's some weird romance anime with the occasional airplanes. Japan I am disappoint.

 

Probably just gonna watch Gin no Saji and maybe Nisekoi, and a couple of OVA's

 

God damn, what an uninteresting season.

Space Dandy maybe, but I'm not a fan of random humor, so we'll see how that turns out.

From what I recall, Nisekoi has some major problems, though it's very popular. Might look into it?

Only other one that stands out is Witch Craft Works, because I started to read the manga at some point. I think I dropped it when it turned out to be a generic harem fantasy, though.

No Gundam Build Fighters? I've not caught up but I liked the pilot fine I suppose

Space Dandy - looks incredibly risky, I don't like Champloo at all and the art direction on SD makes me very very worried... I'll watch the first few though for Bebop's sake.

 

Space Dandy and Silver Spoon are the only shows on those lists I know I'm going to watch. There's a few manga adaptations that could be entertaining, but I doubt that they'll have any staying power.

 

As week a season it is, luckily we have some top notch shows carrying over from the fall season. 5 out of 6 shows I'm following apparently have 25 episodes.

The lineup definitely needs more Gundam. Haven't seen any good mecha anime since 00 ended.

 

You know this season is bad when Oneechan ga Kita is the most appealing show on the list -.-

I have to put it down to poor descriptions because a similar thing (but not to this extent) happened this season, but I ended up watching more shows that I thought I originally would.

 

Uh... Valvrave is pretty damn good. I think Code Geass started the year 00 S2 started? though I may be completely making that up. Gundam Unicorn, you should watch all six currently issued OVAs and we're less than 6 months from the final hopefully. There's Gundam Build Fighters, which isn't exactly typical Gundam but it's Mecha... sorta. There's also another series from this summer that just ended, something something Verdantius Planet I think? I'm not sure since I haven't seen it.

The Evangelion Rebuild movies have come out since 00 too, and those are godly.

I hate to say this, but while I love 00 because it was the first series I watched after First Gundam, and it got me into watching all the old ones eventually, it's not THAT amazing, and definitely contains a lot of elements of past series past "better than human pilot in a white and blue MS."

And if you really really want a real Gundam series, not one about kids, it's pretty likely we'll see a remake of the original starting next year, hopefully as a real series.

 

I want to see more G Gundam now.

 

Space Dandy may be great or may be horrible. Anything in between is not very likely. And new Sailor Moon series? Count me in if only because I am a very nostalgic guy.

Other than that Steins;Gate movie is finally on a Blu-ray.

 

The Sailor Moon reboot has been in the works for a long ass time. It's definitely coming out, but I wouldn't put any stock in it coming out in the next season.

 

They recently confirmed that they're planning a worldwide release in January 2014 with subtitles in 10 languages. But with no trailer or even promo screenshots they sure keep it all hidden, even two months away from its premiere.

 

Wake Up Girls is my sleeper for the season. Heard it here first.

 

Going all the way back to the distant past, Tonari no Seki-kun is absolutely hysterical. It's the stroy of a girl, Rumi, who is constantly getting distracted by what her neighbor (the eponymous Seki-kun) does during class to waste time.

The comedy is very good and the episodes are short- only about 8 minutes long so they never feel like they overstay their welcome. Due to the brevity of the series, I would recommend everyone with even a passing interest in funny things to give this anime shot to see if it's to their tastes.

 

Seconded. The byplay is just as adawbs as where Rumi's reactions take each episode.
