I'm looking for a story that I once read but whose name I've forgot. Dementors trigger the dissemination of the world, and Harry and Ron have a camaraderie due to the absence of Ron bashing. There was an Auror called Robards in it and I remember that it was ferociously good although a little long.

On that note, any stories where Dementors form a huge part of the plot? Where Dementors are involved in taking over Great Britain, for example?

If you're looking for a "ferociously good" story about Dementors triggering the Apocalypse, what you're looking for is definitely Incorruptible by MattSilver. It features Harry/Astoria, a number of OC Aurors, one of whom named Robards, and a friendship between Harry and Ron.

It's basically what would happen if a zombie apocalypse broke out in the Potterverse.

To your second question, I don't know any other stories featuring Dementors as the primary plot device, although I'm sure there are a few out there which link them to the Master of Death.

 

There's that one with the fem!Dementor/Harry pairing (whose names starts with an 'N' I think). It's an azkaban!Harry fic... someone like Minion probably knows exactly which story I'm talking about since I can't remember the name of it.

 

Yeah unless the Bollywood version of Incorruptible actually got its funding, it's definitely my old school zombie HP apocalypse fic as linked in Klackerz's and Zeit's posts. Warts and all. And if you want more Dementors taking over the world... Wait for the sequels/AUquels like everyone else, because ain't nobody goin' to go down that path but me. Bastards.

 

I'm kind of curious, and will probably read the story... but could someone tell me how dangerous could zombies be to wizards and witches? Or are these zombies resilient to magic?

I've read Raised by Darkness some time ago. It seemed decent enough back then, but author has a very annoying habit of not finishing paragraphs. He just stops mid-sentence. It is painful to read because of it.
