Sloth, I can't see a way where a Merchant as Maiden described is town.

How can town!Maiden distribute the items to town if she doesn't know who is bidding? I see the mechanic as funding night kills on us. Those who bid on the items give money to scum and the scum use it to NK.

If that's not the case, then Riley's ability makes no sense because scum abilities most likely cost gold and scum would have to have much higher gold than us to actually do anything, especially late in the game.

I don't know why Prophy designed it this way, but I can tell you that how I decide who to sell it to is basically like this:

Prophy says that 'Player A attempted to buy 'Watch' @ so and so date and time.'
I then go into the forum and see who was posting at that time, and try to use that to gauge who attempted to buy it.

Not only that, but I TRIED to put things up that would help Town and not scum. You can't deny that. I know that it's up for debate about the whole bulletproof thing (since that could help a scum avoid Lucky). I can say is that either Rolecop will be put up tomorrow, or I will be dead and it will be confirmed, regardless.

 

That's why it makes no sense. Your acts make no sense as scum but the role makes no sense as town.

You know, you're not much of a team player. I can understand sacrificing a town, because of what's good in the long run, but jeez. MathBlade's lynch was not that, and I knew it wasn't. That's why I didn't want her to be lynched. For the record I was the one who retracted my bid. I thought it was an auction system, not an insta-buy system.

My reason for retracting was two fold.

A) If I bought it and survived the night, Titus/Citrus et all would jump on me and claim I'm scum for survivng.
B) I only have the one gold. If I wanted to do an audit tonight to prove my Auditor claim than I'd need that one gold.

Therefore I retracted. This way either
A) I die, flip town and you all gang up on Titus because she's scum (still don't understand how no one sees it)
B) I get through the night, do an audit and prove my claim once and for all.

If this in some way screams scum to anyone then I'm fucking done and you all are morons.

 

Yeah, it makes sense to keep the player who has two votes and attacks the scums. Both nights I was attempted to be jailed and once I protected myself (prevent immediate autodeath of town role).

Well then. In case I get shot, and Moridin doesn't. I'd suggest going for him. If Mathblade flips town and one or more vig shots flip town, it might be time to reevaluate and go for Titus.

Mathblade's tone was off, much more melodramatic than normal. She was doubtcasting the conftowns, attacking people based on factually inaccurate stuff and continuing to push it after it was proven false. She slipped she was getting daychat. She's freaking obvscum.

 

I absolutely agree here. The almost only way to get someone to open their eyes on a fake conf! town is to derp so obviously you get noticed and then hope to God people put it together. I wasn't so sure the scum was Titus but I would definitely put it as Titus or Citrus. Titus for having no real reason to persistently say I'm mafia and Citrus for likely lying about his town vanilla. If anyone claims town vanilla (like Irid just did) I would be skiddish about that because I'm about to confirm town vanilla.
