Right now we're trying to plan things out, and it turns out the starting game size is pretty damn important to that.

So we're posting a signups thread /for interest/ to determine how big to plan for.

If you think you are interested and you have a decent chance of playing, please /sign up as interested/. You are not obligated to play if you sign, you won't be automatically excluded from the real signups if you don't. This is so we can accurately plan challenges/etc.

That said, if for whatever reason we more people that sign up in the official signups than we planned for (where we use this interest signup to plan), we reserve the right to give precedence to those that /showed interest/.

If you are not interested in playing, but are interested in being involved in another aspect (judging things as requested, posting for deadlines we will miss, observing, etc.) Please also let us know

What is Survivor?

There are examples in the threads here that Zeitgeist ran but basically it's a forum-adapted version of the actual reality show Survivor played entirely via text with timer's and challenges. It has Mafia elements via alliances, voting and deceipt being the name of the game. We are currently planning to play via the boards as the show thread, with QTs for our Diaries and Communal QTs for alliances (these will likely have restricted hours of access). Challenges will take place either on this sites thread or on specific websites or via anonymous submission.

It's a fun but long and involved game. I think the last went over a month long. Correct me if I'm wrong Survivor-Bros.

Sloth yes I am terrified of the big bad Sloth. I won't mind being obs if I'm free though Citrus, so hit me up as obs, where I can laugh comfortably(read: evilly) at Sloth as he attempts horrible challenges like the pole-balance and chess and so on.
