Summary: Voldemort is dead but too many of Harry's friends died. So Harry decides to go back in time to save everyone and make things right.

Chapter 1 - Saving Cedric

Voldemort was dead. Harry Potter had won. But it didn't feel like a victory to Harry. Too many had died. Sirius, Remus, Tonks, Fred, Cedric and many more. All of this had been Dumbledore's plan. Harry clenched his fists in frustration. No he wouldn't accept it. There had to be a way to change this

There had to be way to save everyone. That was why Harry was making his way to the Headmaster's office to speak with Dumbledore's portrait. To get answers.

Harry reached the Gargoyle. It was open. He went up he stairs and went inside the Headmaster's office.

Harry took his wand and silenced the other portraits of Headmasters. He wanted this conversation to be private. He saw the empty portrait that bared the name ALBUS PERCIVIAL WULFRIC BRIAN DUMBLEDORE.

"Come out Dumbledore. I finished the job. Voldemort is dead. I deserve answers. You owe me." Harry said in a irritated voice.

At that Albus Dumbledore appeared and smiled.

"Ah yes I heard about that Harry. Congratulations my boy. I knew you would do it. Now what do you want to know?"

"I'll get straight to the point. Too many have died. There has to be a way to save them. You must know of way to do this. After all I did for you tell me the truth today. I want no lies. You owe me that." Harry said.

Albus Dumbledore turned serious and looked at Harry for a few seconds. "I do owe you that Harry. I will tell you the truth of whatever I know."

"So is there a way to save everyone?" Harry said.

"There is but Harry this is war. You have to accept it. It's a part of life." Dumbledore said softly.

"What is that way Dumbledore? Harry asked.

"Harry please listen to me you don't have to this. Accept this and move on with your life." Dumbledore implored.

"And ignore whatever happened? Look you said you would tell right now and you owe everyone who fought for your cause. Tell me." Harry spat.

"Time Travel." Dumbledore said.

"No you can't go back in time for more than a few hours." Harry said

"In a time turner yes. But Nicholas Flamel and I invented a special spell that could. We never told anyone as we considered it a dangerous invention." Dumbledore said.

At that Harry looked shocked but collected himself.

"What is it?" Harry said.

"Harry listen Time is not something that you can mess with." Dumbledore implored.

"I don't care. I will mess with whatever that shouldn't be messed with if it will save their lives." Harry said resolutely.

"Do you know what you're asking for Harry?" Dumbledore said in a serious tone.

"Yes I do." Harry said in a resolved tone.

"I see I can't convince you." Dumbledore said in defeat.

"Tel me the spell" Harry said.

"Tempus Itinerantur." Dumbledore finally said.

"Right. What does this do?" Harry asked.

"It will take you back in time to your younger self whichever time you wish." Dumbledore explained.

Harry thought of when it would be best to go back. Harry decided it was best to back in time to the Graveyard. Save Cedric Diggory.

Harry took out his wand to say the spell.

"Good luck Harry." Dumbledore said.

"Tempus Itinerantur." Harry incantated. And suddenly he felt as he was being squeezed. Harry could describe the feeling to Apparition.

When Harry's conscious came back it was blurry and he couldn't hear. But a moment later he could see and hear. Harry realised what was happening.

"Did anyone tell you the cup was a Portkey?" Cedric asked.

Harry pointed his wand at Cedric "Sorry Cedric. Obliviate!"

He sorted through Cedric's memories and planted a false memory of Cedric taking the cup after they had arrived to check on the cup. Harry the levitated the cup to Cedric's body. And Cedric was gone.

Harry breathed in relief. Cedric was alive. He had saved him. He realised what he had done was worth it.

Harry waited for Pettigrew to arrive. He would let everything happen as before had except when Voldemort would give him his wand back he would disapparate. He would pretend it was accidental magic. They would buy it. As for Crouch he would stun him and pretend Voldemort had gloated about it.

Everything happened as before. Wormtail tied me to Harry to the statue and used Harry's blood along with his own hand and Tom Riddle Sr.'s bone to resurrect Lord Voldemort.

Voldemort summoned his Death Eaters, berating them for thinking he was dead, before he revealed that he has a single "faithful servant" concealed at Hogwarts, who had been working to ensure that Harry would make it to the graveyard. Harry also let Voldemort torture him with the Cruciatus Curse.

"Now untie him, Wormtail, and give him back his wand."

As soon Harry got his wand he disapparated to Hogsmeade.

Harry quickly walked from there and made into Hogwarts and walked to the Quidditch Stadium.

As he entered he saw Dumbledore in deep conversation withhis teachers and Ministry Officals. The Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws and even the Gryffindors celebrating their school victory. Cedric was nowhere to be seen. Harry guessed he was in the Hospital Wing.

Harry pretended to be scared kid. Everyone noticed him as did Dumbledore.

Dumbledore rushed towards him. "What happened Harry? Mr. Diggory said to us you and him were portkeyed to some grave yard. Mr Diggory said he picked up to cup to check on it which resulted him being portkeyed back here."

"He's back," Harry whispered. "He's back. Voldemort."

Dumbledore looked pained at that. "I feared that - "

"Sir Voldemort gloated that a Death Eater was impersonating Mad Eye Moody." Harry cut in.

At Dumbledore quickly turned and stunned the fake Moody who was conversing with the other teachers. He turned back to Harry.

The cries of the teachers and Ministry officials could be heard at the unexpected turn of events but Dumbledore ignored them.

"How did you escape Harry? Mr Diggory had taken the Portkey."

"I think it was accidental magic. Voldemort had used the Cruciatus Curse on me and I so badly wanted to get away I apparated to Hogsmeade. I made my way from there." Harry said.

"Thank Merlin." Dumbledore mouthed before he turned around as he noticed the other teachers and Ministry officials approaching him. He would have to explain to them.

All in all Harry considered this a job well done.

My advice: Stop making new threads for a while. Take the time to read existing threads and stories. Observe, read, occasionally pitch in. Once you get the hang of those you can move on.

Alexx seems to really be getting your blood pumping TMD... like, all over the board you're just so full of energy every time you talk to him, and follow him everywhere.

I'm not sure who we should really be worrying about on DLP right now.

 

What can I say? Alexx has been an absolute breath of fresh air. Air which initially smells like hippo faeces, but then elevates you to the seventh heaven like a strong opiate. I want to enjoy his presence while I can, before he vanishes for another year.

As for me? Well, just wait till you see my first piece of writing

That's the epilogue. The majority of the story is how the school deals with an outbreak of TB, after the Patil twins return from their holiday.

 

What is with this guy snap making new threads? I had time to properly peruse the forums today, and WbA has like, 3 new stories by this character. Did he bide his time for 1.5 years and then suddenly start to troll?

 

They went on a pilgrimage to the Ganges. Sadly all the cow piss they bathed in wasn't that healthy.

 

This and your other post about Patil twins getting TB just because they were vacationing in Pakistan or India is completely fucked up.

I am from India. Usually I would love when people talk shit about Pakistan but I expected something like this from trolls over the internet - just not DLP forums (I guess there isnt much distinction between the two - as evident from this entire thread).

You also just pissed on Ganges - considered a holy/sacred river and a goddess incarnation by Hindus all over the world.

It sucks that these kind of things are ignored if not encouraged here.
