Basically a two shot on what has always annoyed me on Canom

When Hermione admits to confunding Cormac Harry tells her how wrong she was and makes her realises her mistake. One shot.

As they came into the castle they spotted Cormac McLaggen entering the Great Hall. It took him two attempts to get through the doors; he ricocheted off the frame on the first attempt. Ron merely guffawed gloatingly and strode off into the Hall after him, but Harry caught Hermione's arm and held her back.

"What?" said Hermione defensively.


"If you ask me," said Harry quietly, "McLaggen looks like he was Confunded this morning. And he was standing right in front of where you were sitting."
Hermione blushed.


"Oh, all right then, I did it," she whispered. "But you should have heard the way he was talking about Ron and Ginny! Any-way, he's got a nasty temper, you saw how he reacted when he didn't get in — you wouldn't have wanted someone like that on
the team."


Harry became angry at that.


"Just beacuase you don't like some does not mean you can charm them. You're wrong Hermione I want who's best in Gryffindor. Ron was terrible last year and as lucky in the last match. Looks like I will have to hold Keeper try outs again." Harry spat.


Hermione was shocked at his outburst.


"What are you two doing?" demanded Ron, reappearing in the doorway to the Great Hall and looking suspicious.


"I was telling her I was going to hold the keeper trials again Ron." Harry said.


"What" Ron shouted.


"Hermione confounded McLaggen Ron so I will have to hold it to see whos the best among you two."


Ron looked shocked and began. "But mate-"


"Get ready for the try out again Ron." Harry cut him off and walked towards Cormac McLaggen.


When he reached Cormac Mclaggen.


"McLaggen I'm having the keeper try outs again. Hermione confounded you. Get ready for it." Harry said.
"What Granger confounded me? I knew there was something wrong. I'll tell Professor McGonagall." Cormac said.


Cormac went and reported it to Proffesor McGonagall. Hermione lost her prefect badge and was assigned Detention for a month. Everyone in the castle was shocked that the teacher's pet could do such a thing. The Keeper try outs were held again and Cormac became the keeper after easily beating Ron.


Hermione realised her mistakes and apolgised to Harry and Cormac while Ron became angry and blamed Harry for him nor being keeper. Harry and Ron and were not friends anymore.




When Hermione reveals she altered her parents memory, Harry tells her how wrong she was to do it and makes her realise her mistake. One shot.

"Let's see," said Hermione, slamming Travels with Trolls onto the discarded pile with a rather fierce look. "I've been packing for days, so we're ready to leave at a moment's notice, which for your information has included doing some pretty difficult magic, not to mention smuggling Mad-Eye's whole stock of Polyjuice Potion right under Ron's mum's nose."


"I've also modified my parents' memories so that they're convinced they're really called Wendell and Monica Wilkins, and that their life's ambition is to move to Australia, which they have now done. That's to make it more difficult for Voldemort to track them down and interrogate them about me or you, because unfortunately, I've told them quite a bit about you."


"Assuming I survive our hunt for the Horcruxes, I'll find Mum and Dad and lift the enchantment. If I don't ¨well, I think I've cast a good enough charm to keep them safe and happy. Wendell and Monica Wilkins don't know that they've got a daughter, you see."


Hermione's eyes were swimming with tears again. Ron got back off the bed, put his arm around her once more, and frowned at Harry as though reproaching him for lack of tact. Meanwhile Harry was getting angry at the

revelation.


"What. Are you out of your mind Hermione?" Harry shouted.


Hermione and Ron looked surprised at Harry's tone.


"What do you mean Harry?" Hermione asked tearfully.


"You altered the memories of your parents without their permission. You didn't even ask them about it. Hermione do you realise what wrong you done?" Harry said angrily.


Hermione looked shocked at that and opened her mouth gaping.


"Mate they're muggles." Ron cut in.


"And that makes her right? They're her parents Ron." Harry spat.


"Harry you're right. I'm such an evil person. I altered my own parents memories." Hermione said tearfully and began crying.


"Look what you have done Harry." Ron said angrily at Hermione's crying and tried to comfort her by pressing her closer to him.


"Oh shut it Ron just because you want to shag her don't take her side. Think for once you idiot." Harry spat.


Ron became even more angry at Harry's revelation of his motives. He

removed his arms from Hermione.


"She did it for you Harry." Ron shouted.


"Did I ask her to wipe her memories of her Parents? I don't think so. Like I said before think for once you idiot." Harry shot back.


Ron glared at Harry going over his words before he realised Harry was right.


"You're right mate." Ron conceded.


"They will hate me Harry when I realter them." Hermione said.


"With good reason. All you can do is apologise Hermione and hope they forgive you." Harry said.


"I hope so Harry." Hermione said."Thanks for making me see my mistake Harry."


"What are friends for." Harry sighed.

Just a post stating that I'm looking forward to whatever MattSilver is going to write in response to this thread.

 

That you currently fail at every aspect of storytelling and continually avoid addressing the criticism you're given. If you post in WbA it should be in order to improve. So either show that you want to do that, or stop posting.

Those of you getting worked up over this guy....you realize that he's trolling right? I doubt he has any actual writing talent, but he knows this too and is using that lack of talent for his amusement. He's a sick, twisted, little puppy.

 

Yes. That's why people stopped giving him helpful advice and moved on to encouraging him to have Harry go all Unexpected Jihad on Malfoy Manor.

Don't forget he grew his beard with his recently discovered Metamorphmagus talents. Tho the 72 virgins after that sounds like any of the Harem fics.

 

I wonder how that'd differ from Expected Jihad.

Does this mean the Malfoy's aren't Muslim? I mean, they are pretty dedicated to their Lord, murdering in his name, promoting their cause against all others. Quirrel wore the turban, but the Malfoy's are definitely practicing Islam.
