New chapter was good.

I think Namach could hold his own against any given Elf.

I had a major post for this but I'm eating so I only have 1 hand but this what I got.

Harry will eventually get to the top, not the tip, but the top, no one will fuck with him. The update only took about 5-6 weeks, not months. I think he will be going under a power boost or something like that soon enough. I can't really find too much to say. I'm a major Second Chance fanboy.

 

Hm.. I thought everyone gave up on this series after all the Malfoy loving crap came about in the sequel.


Edit: I actually checked this again, it seemed like Malfoy was going to become a major character in the 2nd chapter and that's when I stopped reading it, however based on the last chapter, I guess he isn't, so I'm gonna give this another shot.

 

I didn't, Malfoy is going to be taken care of. Malfoy loving? He gets raped repeadetly and is a slave.

 

As I said in my edited post, I stopped at chapter 2, where it hinted that Malfoy would eventually get angry and fight back. In addition to that, it said he was "powerful and intelligent". Also, Harry defends him repeatedly in both fics, in his early letter to Hermione and the others, and when he becomes Daray's slave.

Also, why is Malfoy important? Why is he Daray's only slave? It seemed like a useless excuse to get him more involved in the story.

 

Whatever is the case, we'll find out in next chapter, where the author announced both the Malfoy and Ron subplots would end (presumably in some gory death scenes).

I'm actually a little lost at what's happening in this sequal, don't remember a whole lot from it.

 

Yeah I've had to re read it to put it all together. Malfoy is gonna die ar be really fucked up. I personally think he is gonna curse Daray and force him into his demon transformation and kill Draco rather painfully. I kept reading through the Draco stuff because she said she hates him to but needed him for something... I hoped that something was a slow and painful death which I think it will be.

I have to disagree with Darius. The elves are set up as gods her to keep the world safe from demons.

 

And that's where you're wrong No, seriously, I really want to believe that Namach could take them on, he's just so cool. I tihnk he'd do alright.

 

We actually have no real idea about the elves power except that as a group they could depopulate the world in a day. We have no idea how the 'average' elf would fair. The three elves we see in the sequel, chapter four, I think were ancient super-powerful. i.e. the Elf equivilent to Namach.

I believe that Namach could destroy a fair few eleves easily, and that he would only have trouble or be defeated by the very very top of the elf hirachy.

As for Harry's power, What i would be interested in seeing is that his unique physiolagy, granted by the dragonblood, and his unique connection with death, often pointed out in the story, would give him a high life expectancy, say 1000 years or something. Or even 500. Remember the dragon blood he drank was meant to have a life span of about 1500-3000+ yeas or something. And its proven in cannon that wizards can live to be about 170 at least. In the most recent chapter it is said that Akrahm wizards often lived longer than others ebcause of the excellent medical care that they had acsess to so its possible he could use that time to increase his power.

If he does suddenly receive a powerup, I will be a bit disappointed. I liked the fact that his power grew through his own effort, rather than be granted to him. Though I soppose a powerup would be ok considereing the vampires seem to constantly get powerups by drinking ohther vampires blood.

 

Totally agree. These must be the best of them and the rest are like the vamps. Strong but to different degrees.

I really want Harry to fnd a way to be immortal (Obviously he could be killed in a fight I mean he can't get sick or grow old) through necromancy which he is said to be very good at and the dragons blood.

It was said he survived the dragons blood the forst time because he was powerful enough to absorb it. Why not drink some more of a different species like the death dragon or Ice dragon? That would make him more powerful and more special abilities and he has allready shown to be able to survive it. He is even more powerful now and part dragon so should be able to deal with a more powerful dragon now to.

 

The only reason I even brought up the power boost for Harry was because of the Vampires ability to just drink some blood and get more powerful.

I didn't mean like magical maturation though, I meant something more along the lines of him doing an extremely dangerous and powerful ritual.

 

The thing I thought was a example about the chapter 4 elves is that Harrys Thunderbird form was not even able to compare in power to the elves Death Dragons from what I understood.

 

Yeah, but getting an animagus form does not immediatly make you ultra-powerful. We are talking about basiclly Immortal beings ont he level of Namach. If Harry could match them at the moment I would be bloody disapointed.

Also anyone else here think the basilisk is rather tame compared to the thunderbird and dragons. Even the dark angels were crap. I mean Cyla is supposed to be only a few hundred years younger than Namech but he has a massive dragon and she is a fucking dark ange;... Namach would kick her ass where as it should be that she is only a little weaker than him but she has a whole family to back her up.

 

You said it yourself. A few Centuries is alot of time even to vampires. Also I would imagine she didnt pull out all her tricks in that one battle. Her form is probably just not as powerful as Namachs anyway. My impression of those types of Dragons is power incarnate. I mean its supposed to be powerful. I imagine Her form is meant for speed and magical strength rather than brute force and magic like Namachs.

 

The dark angels are I think a lame idea. They are extremely powerful though, I don't think there's any dispute that Namach would kick Celia's ass all over Akren but she has connections.

 

A few centuries when you are 3000 years old is nothing. In a straight fight Namach would win 9 times out of 10 but he wouldn't kick ass. But I do think the dark angels suck ass.

 

From my understanding the Dark Angels are a family trait that she worked in to her family kinda like blood magic or something. There's nothing to say that she doesnt have a super powerfull form also. What im realy wondering about is waht the Headmistress is. She is powerfull enough to have the respect of the rest of the staff. What race is she I mean she doesnt seem to have any of the defineing carecteristics the rest of the races have so she could be human. But how has she been alive long enough to aquire the power she has.
