As the title says, im looking for stories that include Harry not being the BWL. By this i don't mean ANY story in which its him secretly being the BWL, but everyone thinks someone else is. Oh and no slash :fire

 

Harry Potter and the Boy Who Lived by the Santi of you find it on DLP you can get 17 chapters

 

Deprived by The Crimson Lord on ff.net is a decent read, about 160k words.
However, similar to The Santi's fic mentioned above in that it is likely dead and unfinished.

 

SirScrubDub I think this should be posted here. I'm not a mod or anything so I can't move it, but for future references, if you're looking for a story, post it in the Story Searches sub-forum of Fanfic Discussion.

Anyways, I may be pushing it here, but very rarely have I seen a fic incorporate both of the above mentioned criteria, because the general fic out there incorporates the second plot, but makes it so that the first is false i.e. you'll get the "everyone thinks HP isn't the BWL" but then it'll be hard for you the get the "HP truly isn't the BWL" part.

I'd suggest going for Harry Potter and the Boy Who Lived. I'll try searching for stories like these, but don't expect many.

Deprived is likely a WBWL, not another BWL, as Harry is chosen as champion in the Triwizard Tournament.

The was an old one. Knowledge is Power but I forgot who wrote it. It really started the Harry is 3 years older fics

 

For what it's worth, KiP was written by SerpentSannin/Oblong/Fettucini/MrJoe (he changed names a lot). The writer used to visit DLP back when he was writing, though had a hard time with criticism and left the site and the fandom.

It's guilty pleasure territory at best.
