This paragraph is mind boggling (And I hope it's what Typh is referring to as well). It's so easy to just dogmatically say "Tom faking reads he must be scum" despite the fact the he very openly explained it. You can call it stupid town play, but it's not so black and white. This kind of black and white, zero flexibility thinking is absolutely textbook scum, especially since it's just chaining Tom mislynch -> Fonti mislynch.

I will say that as much as math is openly reading "different" as scum but is somehow kind of ok with fonti shooting waco is pinging.
And that read on me changed from "only scum fakes reads" to "he's lying about which reads were fake" like they have accepted I fake reads but am still scum for somehow an even dumber reason.
I could go there as well.

I would even go so far as to say that being a suspect early is a minor towntell for me. I've been run up d1 as scum once, in 3 little pigs, and just deflated the town into a no lynch. Many more scumgames where I didn't receive any votes until lylo.
But I do tend to be a wagon as town.

Miner wants to policy lynch me for no actual reason, despite being 0 for life reading me.

Math thinks I'm scum for saying which reads were fake when she's supposed to think they all are by her own conclusion.

Oh, fluff read.

I think he was playing very close to his town meta on D1. Casual, carefree, not too much content, fluffy, lots of questions with little followup. He isn't at all traditionally towny and I had to go over this so many times in the last game here, but yeah.

Scum!fluff tries to fake content and gamesolving. "So Vaimes, you're saying that fluff trying to solve the game is scummy?" Kinda, yeah, but you can sort of see the difference if you were to look at his town! and scum!posts side by side.

If he's scum and coasting off of the D1 townreads then he was probably being supercoached by someone who hopped on the town!fluff wagon (hi Typhon and font).

Cobalt is town, I'm probably dumb for scumreading Typhon for as long as I did (I believe he believes he caught scum, though whether he's right or not is still something I'm hmm'ing over), and the fluff townread is eh, not absolute but not at all interested in lynching anytime soon. Decent enough to get an idea of where scum are voting.

Definitely want to look into and possibly kill Jan, MathBlade, and Eco.

It's called the Sorcerer. Delphine asked about it too, but I was too busy to respond to her and she died before I got the chance to.

Basically there's a newlywed couple, and the husband is so happy that he wants the entire village to feel the way he does. So he gets a sorcerer to give everyone in the village a love potion, and they all end up falling for the wrong person (they all had previous relationships, it was just that none of them had committed to marriage, or something). The husband wants himself and his wife to also drink the potion so that their love will be permanent. The wife is offended that he thinks she won't love him forever of her own will, but then concedes to make him happy and ends up falling for another villager. The sorcerer says the only way to break the spell is for him or the husband to die; the village rallies against the Sorcerer for manipulating them, who accepts his fate and throws himself down a well.

None of the actors had mics on, so I caught maybe 10% of the singing. I dunno how accurate my summary is. Almost the entire first act was the husband singing about how much he loved his wife, and then everything is sort of rushed in the second act.

I've never seen or read A Midsummer Night's Dream, but I'm pretty sure they're basically the same thing? Except with fairies instead of sorcerers?

I thought taking a step back for a bit would let me get over the irritation I'm feeling. It did not.

Eco, approximately half the people voting me yesterday and many of those voting tom did it because they claimed tom and I were together. This despite me pushing him since the very beginning of D1. I find it very likely that since tom's mafia flip was taken for granted and townies (i.e. me and von) were connected to him, I think it's very likely that the scum team was attempting to mitigate their loses.

Von, Mal insisting on lynching Jarizok over tom yesterday and Math over tom today does not sit well with me. I also think his has this sort of stilt to it at points, and I can't fully fit myself inside his head, if that makes sense.

Fair warning, if/when tom flips mafia here (because we are lynching him) I may shoot you for your defense.

I'm going to continue to defend miner, in part because one person flipping on me yesterday would have killed me if I didn't have the pr claim to fall back on. I do not believe scum!miner would be able to resist the temptation to help lynch me d1.
