I didn't see a thread like this do I figured I'd post one myself.

I'm looking for movie recommendations on the idea of "the last man on earth." the only thing I've seen so far that doesn't really follow that premise is "I'am Legend"

Can someone help me?

 

The Quiet Earth from 1985 is following that premise. I haven't seen this for a long time but back then the atmosphere of that movie was great.

If you just take the premise only from a personal isolation perspective "The Man From Earth" might be worth a try. Also a small movie which makes you think. I watch it occasionally and it never looses its power. Just a great movie.

 

Thanks for the recommendation I've never seen The Quiet Earth before. As for The Man from Earth it's one of my favorite movies.
