    Okay, the LEP watches all humans, right? So that means that they have to know about the war with Voldemort. What if recon decided to remove the biggest threat to the magical world since Artemis Fowl II. But their recon team fails and they know of only one who could match wits with Lord Voldemort. Enter, Artemis, Butler, and a certain disgraced LEPrecon Captain. (Set after the forth Artemis Fowl book (because I haven't had the chance to read the last one yet) and wherever in the HP-verse you see fit.

    But here's another idea. The LEP monitors above ground magic and, when a new chosen is called -Harry- they decide to give him the training he will need to remove him. Holly Short, being the only female LEPrecon agent, is tasking with raising/teaching him. But with the looming presence of Artemis Fowl, will Harry's life change for the better, or for the worse..... Set before the HP books and before the AF books (one plus - you don't have to seriously fuck with the timeline)

    I really hope that someone takes up these, preferably before I get the chance to read the next Fowl book ;)

    ...Shit. i hadn't realized another book came out, I've only read up to Opal Deception. :s I don't like the idea of bringing Holly into The Wizarding world, but pushing Harry into the People's world.. that might have promise. Have them use Harry as a solution to another problem.

    I would love to see Opal used more, she is one of my favorite Artemis Fowl Character's if not my favorite. Actually, id rather have Opal align herself with harry. *giggles insanely.* Oh yes, I can envision it now.

    Theres a new AF book out? I thought it stopped at Opal Deception.

    I like Surarrin's idea the most, it seems like it would be more realistic to the universe we're talking about.

    EDIT: Went looking around and found the summary for The Lost Colony.

    Ten thousand years ago, humans and fairies fought a great battle for the magical island of Ireland. When it became clear to the fairy families that they could never win, they decided to move their civilization underground and keep themselves hidden from the humans. All the fairy families agreed on this, except the eighth family, the demons.

    The demons planned to lift their small island out of time until they had regrouped and were ready to wage war on the humans once more. However, the time spell went wrong, and the island of Hybras was catapulted into Limbo, where it has remained for ten thousand years.

    Now the tainted time spell is deteriorating and demons are being sucked back into the present space and time. The fairy council is concerned about this and is monitoring any materializations. But when the spell’s deterioration accelerates, the materializations become unpredictable. Even the fairy scientists cannot figure out where the next demon will pop up.

    But someone can. Artemis Fowl, teenage criminal mastermind, has solved temporal equations that no normal human should be intelligent enough to understand. So when a confused and frightened demon pops up in a Sicilian theater, Artemis Fowl is there to meet him. Unfortunately, he is not the only one. A second, mysterious party has also solved temporal equations, and has managed to abduct the demon before Artemis can secure him.

    Once again, Artemis will have to pair up with his old comrade, Captain Holly Short, to track down the missing demon and rescue him, before the time spell dissolves completely and the lost demon colony returns violently to Earth.

    Sounds pretty good to me.

    It is an amazing book, just as good as the others, maybe even the best. You should definetly read it.

    As for the chalenge, I do not remember seeing any Artemis Fowl crossovers, it would be an interesting read, I'm sure.

    Something else I'd love to see is a story with Harry as Artemis' brother. EvilGenius!Harry WTFPWNs Dumbledore, Snape, Voldemort, Malfoy, Pedo!Hagrid and anything else you could come up with!

    Meh. Not a big fan of Artemis Fowl. I liked the first book, despite it being pretty short and with a simple story, but the second one sucked. Artemis spent the entire book getting made fun of. There were no cunning plans, no witty lines, he was completely useless and simply comic relief for Holly to make fun of and that pretty much killed my interest.

    Well, do bear in mind, that while HP is written with the adult audience at least in mind, Artemis Fowl is a 100% childrens book. Its aimed at the average 10-12 year IMO, which means that a fair number of people on this board would probably have found them too childish at that age, because from what I've seen we are as a whole a relatively intelligent group.

    Yeah.. but Rowling didn't intent for Harry to rape his dead mother's corpse. Doesn't mean We can't pervert Eoin's works to our own style.

    They're great ideas, but reading that a new book came out, I read it. Has huge potential for a HP crossover.

    Also, how do you get the spoiler tags up?

    I'd post them, but it would require revealing major part of the plot. And, I wouldn't want to ruin it for Surarrin.

    Read it a second time. I didn't understand it first time, so I just read Artic Incident. I liked that one, and read the 1st one again.

    When they travel throuh time, instead of landing wherever it is they land, they could instead land near Hogswart. Because of the stolen magic, Artemis would be able it. Then, some interaction between Artemis and Harry, we have crminal-mastermind!Harry.

    Alright, read the book.

    First thought;

    GOD FUCK, A MARY SUE!

    Second thought;

    I feel kinda bored, nothing really crazy drastic evil plot-like.

    Third thought;

    I miss Opal.

    Anyway, I honestly didn't like Lost Colony that much. Not enough evil plots and criminal genius, in fact, no criminal genius at all. Added with the slight 'romance' spin on it... Let's just say it won't be winning any Surarrin's Most Enjoyed awards.

    Opal Deception or Eternity Code are probably my favorite, even though in Deception there are few Ingenious schemes by artemis, but Opal more then makes up for it.

    Opal. <3

    Edit; Typo.
