    Harry killing as a child.... It really pisses me off. I can get Harry losing his innocence at a young age from the abuse and harsh reality that no one can look out for him but himself. But Harry killing people (like the Dursley's) when he's a child is just bullshit.

    While I'm not a big Ron fan, I really dislike when he's portrayed as a complete pig that's as thick three foot titanium armor plating. I blame this partially on Rowling as she wrote Ron as the normal one when she should have made him more of a strategist instead of Hermione getting that role too.

    Ron grows and regresses, a lot. Plus his growth was never really towards something like work ethic, it was usually towards not being thickheaded.

    Lately I've been reading second gen. Harry Potter fics... How does Ron Weasley ever have a job? That honestly pisses me off. He's a complete moocher and lazy. I can barely see him holding basic hygiene principles much less a job. Write Ron Weasley as he'd really turn out; Living with his parents obsessing over the chudley cannons and getting off on posters of the Harpies. Fat, Obese and sad. Other Pet peeve, Explaining Luna lovegood as odd for some reason or it has a meaning. No Luna is...

    Flashbacks are fine if short..... The long ones make me rage though. It's pointless exposition. Authors that don't have any mark to show when they're changing the character perception or scene endings. Those make me mad.

    I absolutely hate it when authors have the main pairing fall in love after the first encounter. That's not how good romance works, that's not how to draw in the reader with suspense, and that's certainly not how to write a good story. Also I despise it when authors drop bad and extremely obvious references to manga/anime and try to make it a part of the plot. It makes me face palm every time.
