I have a particular fondness for asshole!Harry. Such as the Harry from Shezza's Denarian series or the Harry from Syaoran's Burn, Baby, Burn! story.

I can't help but laugh everytime I read that line about Fleur tonguing his balls. So if you guys know any well written stories with well written asshole!Harry in them I'd greatly appreciate you pointing me towards them.

Knowledge is Power is pretty much what you're looking for. If you haven't read it yet jordino, I'm 100% sure you'll love it from what I know of you so far.

 

A lot of people didn't like Harry in Silens Cursor's Renegade Cause precisely because he was called an asshole (not that I was one of them). It's both complete and complex, and very well-written.

Asshole Harry's a kind of a hard thing to narrow down on, also. Burn Baby Burn is basically sociopathic asshole Harry, Denarian is extremely childish asshole Harry. A dozen Indy!Harry fics would be yell-y determined asshole Harry. Plenty of fics with evil asshole Harry. A Black Comedy's got funny asshole Harry. Canon's even got surly angsty occasionally yell-y asshole Harry down.

I'll try to come up with an actual rec later, but still, couldn't resist the matte black joke.

 

Control has a great racist classist asshole Harry.
It's abandoned and kind of short though.
WWSHD by Big D is all over the WBA and has a monumental douche Harry, same problems as above.

 

Harry isn't really all that racist in Control so much that he's an asshole. He insults Hermione simply in the way it'll hurt her the most and because she annoys him at the time (if I recall correctly, it happens when he gets the Black properties and monies, pops into Grimmauld Place, which is at the time being used by the Order as a safehouse, and starts trying to evict them).

I rather liked that fic, shame it was abandoned.

 

The anti-muggle sentiments were actually meant by Harry in Control though. He doesn't buy into the idea of blood purity, but he does internalize Bellatrix's attitude towards muggles and the like. Maybe you're thinking of the Denarian series, where Harry acts like a racist to be an edgy dick.

In Control there are countless instances of Harry being racist towards muggles and muggle-borns post-Azkaban.

 

Oh well, his enmity towards muggles doesn't exactly spring out of nowhere. It's not like him being sorted into Slytherin caused that to pop up.

As for being hateful/mean to muggleborns, aside from his interaction with Hermione, I honestly can't recall that. Could you please point me to the relevant chapter, if you recall where I could find examples of such behavior? It's been a long time since I read Control.

 

The entirety of chapter 1, even outside of Hermione's presence he still calls her a mudblood.
Off the top of my head, there is also the scene in the medical tent with Zabini, and some passing remarks here or there about squibs and derogotory remarks about non-humans like Madame Maxime and the like.
