I'm just interested if anyone has written a decent fic where Voldemort doesn't make so many frankly stupid mistakes by keeping the Diadem? It seems like something anyone should have kept if they could, especially considering his aspirations.

One shots or drabbles are equally acceptable btw.

Never saw one, but the idea just seems really OOC. Voldemort is too self reliant and proud to actually use something like that. Doing so would basically be admitting he was a moron.
