    Completely agree with the majority of this thread's sentiment.

    What makes 8man so compelling for me as a character is the degree to which he'll go to in order to comply with his twisted view of the world. He has a very specific logic he applies to situations that is both incredibly narcissistic (believing he's the only person that can solve the problem) and self destructive (not taking into consideration the feelings of those that care about him etc) so that every meaningful victory he gains feels inevitably like a loss.

    This story...doesn't have that. He's just a cynical loser who stumbles his way into being the smartest, greatest, most popular person in the room.

    Fun story with cool ooooh moments, but if you're looking for a good depiction of 8man, this isn't it. 3/5

    I have to admit when I first checked out the story I wasn't too impressed and I will be the first to admit the first few chapters are rough but once you push past it the story massively improves first let me get into this fics strengths.

    One of this fics strengths is that it's manages toc both series together without butchering or ruining either series and treats both series with respect.

    Also another one of this fics strengths is that keep all the characters in character and makes each character in the series such as hachiman or Bakugo have their own voice the dialogue makes each of them sound exactly like they would in canon.

    Lastly the biggest strength of this fix is seeing a person as cynical as hachiman interact with the cast of my hero all of whom want to be hero and are much optimistic than 8man and seeing how would they interact and how a person as cynical as 8man might be deal with that so overall I give this story a 4 out of 5.
