In short - Despite having 72 points worth of pieces against white’s 13, black loses in the next move because that’s a comically bad use of high value pieces.

If only this was an acceptable answer in job interviews, eh? Instead it's "gosh, I love your vision and I'm passionate about this kind of work". I'm sure it's true for some people some of the time, but mostly it's just that we need money to buy food and pay rent.

See, that's one of the things I like about looking for work as a welder. A lot of steelwork companies don't bother to ask generic corporate questions like that one. And even if they do ask it, "I like to weld, and you pay people to do it" is a perfectly valid answer.

And that's assuming they even bother with an interview in the first place. At some of the bigger shops, a guy will walk you over to a welding machine, slap down some stock and say "weld these pieces, and come get me when you're done." If they like your work they'll ask about your schedule and give you a start date, if not they'll tell you right there and then. No muss, no fuss, no bullshit. Probably the least stressful job search I've ever done.

In my first white collar job I said I was here to make money, and my boss basically said "damn right we are".
