This story has generally been enjoyable enough to keep reading, but this last chapter was a real standout.

 

The scene with Lotus and Mamoru/Rhydon was beautiful, and one of the most cathartic evolutions in the story. The visual of him using his stone manipulation to cast off the everstones he has had implanted in his body for a millenium, a few of which Ash had given him earlier was just perfect.

Mewtwo might also be learning that vengeance isn't everything it's cracked up to be.
