I doubt they're gonna focus on race in any noticable amount, considering how there are several prominent dark skinned people in the Fantastic Beast movies and that takes place in the first half of the 20th cenury. Like Leta Lestrange wasn't bullied because her skin colour, her mother was from a prestigious Senegalese Pure-Blood family, she was bullied because of the rumors regarding her involvment in the death of her brother.
