    Anyone thinking of getting this? Ive heard both good and bad things about it, but with City of Heroes: Going Rogue just around the corner, I dont know if it'll be worth it. The character customization looks awesome though.

    Interesting idea. You can be a cop or badguy, and team up with others in a persistant world. Will look more into it.

    It looks a lot like a grand theft auto MMO of sorts. And if you preorder it on steam, it looks like you get to play early for free.

    Its not as good as i thought it would be. Im in the beta now. And you pretty much run from spot to next spot pressing f, the "action key".

    I was expecting that when i blew up a store i would go inside the store and set up a bomb. Not sit outside, press f, and wait for the meter to fill up.

    Ive only killed one other character, lol, the starting gun sucks and almost everybody else has better guns so thats my excuse

    Ive only had an hour of the action play so i could still enjoy it but i dont know.

    Im not sure HOW i got into the beta but i think i signed up early on the APB site cause i never preordered

    I also participated in the beta, and I think it's a pretty fun game with a good idea. There are a LOT of problems inside the game that makes me think that the current release date is too early. I also don't like the fact that this is going to be a pay to play type of game (but with so many games being P2P now, it's kind of hard to argue). It has potential, but I don't think I'm going to plan on picking it up anytime soon.

    Well I got it. Its fun; repetitive, mindless, rage inducing fun. There is no storyline, there are only missions and those you go against during them. In fact, I'd say it plays very much like a multiplayer GTA game. Where it lacks though is it's not a shooter by any stretch of the imagination. If you can see a persons toe, you can kill him just as fast as if you hit him in the head. And there are already hacks. Which sucks. Still, I think it's definitely worth my money at least, if only because I have a handful of other friends that play it.
