I don't have it near as bad as a lot of people, but even in Canada I've always found the markup on book prices infuriating. Price of The Wise Man's Fear in hardcover? U.S.A, $29.95 or CAN. $37.50. This despite the fact that the Canadian dollar was stronger at the time.

More on topic - no Cold Days at my local bookstore. I found a book before release once, and now I always feel the need to check.

 

And now I happily begin my boycott of this thread.

For those of you who have already read Cold Days, what books of the series would you recommend rereading (for those of us who have yet to get our copies?).

 

Well, I haven't read it yet, but I'm guessing that you should start with the books where Sidhe are a big part of the plot.

 

... Summer Knight, Turn Coat and Ghost Story should get you up to speed, and Proven Guilty wouldn't hurt, either.
