"Oh boy hoo, you can shape shift, I read a book on some non-Mitra things if you know what I mean, oh and I summoned a minor one, I'm fucked too you know. That said, I'm still interested in what the oracle is doing."

As Dominic rips of patches from the veil, they fall to the floor. As they all sit there, they warp and change into the items depicted in the patch.

    An item trove has appeared!
    There are:
    -2 daggers
    -A long, hemp rope
-a sack full of basic spell components
    -Eight Sets of Basic Clothes
-A very well made set of thieves tools.
    -An unlabeled potion
    -A Pouch of Gold Pieces
-Eight envelopes, each with one of your names on it, written in flowing script

More will come tomorrow. I sleep tonight. Feel free to keep talking though. It makes me happy.

I snatch my letter, the gold and the spell components.

"The gold is rightful property of Asmodeus, as such I will hold on to it in his stead. Grab your letters. Perhaps we delay our escape a minute."

Ruby will grab and read her letter, along with some of the spell components she needs to cast her spells and a set of basic clothes.

Zadok immediately goes and snatches a dagger and his envelope....and clothes, since I'm sure everyone enjoys half-naked Half-Orc.

"Where'd all this come from? Hmm, I wonder if that Rope is long enough to reach the ground...

Raises an eyebrow at the stuff that dropped and sees an envelop with his name on it and grabs it. And then speaks in a very quiet voice so only the group, ie. no guards, no stray animals, not that damn ogre, or even a ghost in the cell that isn't on our side, can hear.
"I want one of those daggers... and a set of clothes wouldn't hurt either I guess. Wouldn't mind if I could get some colored powered too, but the dagger would be better I think."

Roland quickly grabs the letter addressed to him as well as a set of clothes and spell components. He then opens the letter quickly reading it.

    @Custer
    I'll roll for that: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4431631/ 27.

Quietly: "What amuses you so half-orc?"

    @ Dellez

"And as for you Dominic, anything else you're holding out on us with? or anyone else for that matter? None of you are the missing heir to a throne or some other such rot?"
I ask quietly, the sarcasm thick on my tongue.

OOC: Y'all be grabbing the spell components I grabbed.

"You would not know anything if not for the sorcerer's lack of tact. Read your letter and be silent."

"It's funny, y'see, because once upon a time, I WAS the one who helped hunt down shapechangers like our current companions. The gods have a wicked sense of humor, it would seem.

"And this is why we wait. As for you, witch... That's interesting. Either you are far more powerful than I, or you certainly aren't human. Perhaps one more knowledgeable in the matters of race could answer that riddle. I leave it to them. Can anyone identify the potion?"

Hadzan takes his letter and opens it, and dresses himself in a set of clothes as best he can with the chains on him

If I can't put the clothes on for the manacles, I simply tuck them away for later.

"Heh, a former inquisitor are you? I must admit it is somewhat surprising to see someone of your... illustrious standing slumming it with the rest of us... abominations. But of course we all dance to the tune of the gods knowingly or not."
My mouth twists slightly in distaste at that, but not so much as to be completely obvious about it.

Seeing no harm in grabbing a set of clothes seeing that there are 8 of them, Kevdak then tucks it away for later since he still has the manacles in the way making it a bit hard to put on new clothes.

"Tell you what, as a gesture of goodwill, take this dagger, I'll just use the extra chain we have lying around. Arm the Hobgoblin too, he looks like he knows his way around a fight."

Zadok soft tosses his dagger to Kevdak and readies a length of chain. His grin at the thought of combat borders on feral.

"No inquisitor was I, I lacked the faith. I was merely a spotter and an extra sword for the Witch Hunter once. Until I learned it was he that orphaned me. But he'll get what's coming to him as surely as the sun rises."

Kevdak catches the dagger and nods his head in thanks toward Zadok. After catching it, he give a few practice swings and then fishes out his letter to read it.

"The Witch Hunter? You mean Sir Balin himself? My that is a fall from grace isn't it? And you want to kill him too? Ambitious aren't we? Still no matter, a goal is good. I too long for revenge, although speaking from personal experience, I think you would have found your family to be something of a disappointment."

I glance at my shackles and store the clothing on my person.

"A shame I was so hoping that I would be able to wear something more befitting of my station than these rags, It seems my suffering continues." I sigh dramatically.

Lexgud grabs the rope, cracking it like a whip and smiling. While it isn't his preferred quality and length, it was a serviceable replacement for now. His drifted to the letter with his name on it, and he grabbed that and a set of clothes as well. Putting those on to look similar to the others, he looked at the witch with skepticism.

"They might buy all of us looking the same, but no matter how exact the change is, the guards will be suspicious if you're wearing the same clothes as us." Lexgud points out, then comparing the commander to her body-double in the cell.

Remember, if you're a sorcerer you don't need spell components

Marcinus raises an eyebrow and takes the letter addressed to him, "I doubt there are halfling sized clothes there, and I'm "rushing" you because I can't hold this spell forever. I will take my letter though."

    Dominic
Greetings, Dominic. It is a pleasure to finally communicate with you, even if I am limited to quill and ink.

You might be wondering why I have included a letter to you in the gift that Tiadora provided. Simply put, I too once headed a cult to our Dark Father, and believe that we have more in common then that. And if I had ever been in your situation, and a strange figure provided unasked for aid, I would do everything possible to avoid that figure.

I simply wish you to come to the Manor House on the old moor road. Once there, you can hear me out. If you choose to leave after that, no one shall stop you.

My thanks. And I will be seeing you soon.

    Hadzan
Greetings, Hadzan. It is a pleasure to finally communicate with you, even if I am limited to quill and ink.

I am a friend and an admirer of your work. The way your gang operated in Farholde was impressive, and who knows how far you would have gone without that short sited fool, Kelior.

But still, that is a lesson. A simple lesson on knowing who to trust. Hadzan, I learned that lesson long ago. And I would like to place my trust in you. My servant has provided these tools for your escape. All I ask for in exchange is a meeting. Once you have gained more freedom of motion, come to me. I reside in a manor house lit by a single gas lantern on the old moor road outside of town. Just come and speak with me and mine. If you choose to leave afterwards, we shall show you the door and never trouble you again.

But remember, Hadzan. If what you want is revenge and destruction, you will find no one better suited to giving it to you.

    Kevdak
Greeting, Kevdak of house Urthadar. It is a pleasure to finally communicate with you, even if I am limited to quill and ink.

I am a friend, and one who respects your love of fine literature. I myself am quite a collector of such works. If there is one that can be found on the blessed Isle, I most likely have it in my collection. And I would have no objections to you perusing my library. But for that, we would need to meet and have a small conversation.

I desire nothing more then that conversation. To that end, I have provided some tools that might help you leave your current surroundings. I have even situated myself nearby. Outside of the town closest to Branderscar, there lies an old moor road. If you find an old manor house, lit by a single lantern, on that road, then you have found me. If you need help finding the road, then I'm certain someone in the prison has a map.

With luck, I will be seeing you soon.

    Lexgud
Greetings, Luxgud, Commander of the Third Battalion. It is a pleasure to finally communicate with you, even if I am limited to quill and ink.

Your exploits have reached my ears by certain whispers. It takes more then an ordinary Hobgoblin to lure Errol Greymantle out of retirement, and back on to the battlefield. And that speaks of a talent that I desperately want in my organization.

All I ask is that your hear me out.

If you do not like my offer, and choose to leave, we shall show you the door and never trouble you again.

But remember, Luxgud. If what you want is revenge and destruction, you will find no one better suited to giving it to you.

    Marcinus
Greetings, Marcinus. It is a pleasure to finally communicate with you, even if I am limited to quill and ink.

Your work with the Breuder family in Ghastenhall was most fascinating to watch. It takes a special kind of talented person to clean their books, be a mediator, and slaughter those who oppose them all in the span of an hour. And I would like that talent in my organization.

All I ask is that your hear me out. To that end, I have provided some tools that might help you leave your current surroundings. I have even situated myself nearby. Roland
Greetings, Roland. It is a pleasure to finally communicate with you, even if I am limited to quill and ink.

Your talent with fire is remarkable. What was it, thirty-seven fires you caused before you were caught? That is truly an impressive number, especially considering the fact that no other serial arsonist got beyond four in the last eighty years before being caught. Who knows how far you would have gotten if you hadn't been betrayed and sold by that worm that called himself your patriarch.

But still, that is a lesson. A simple lesson on knowing who to trust. Roland, I learned that lesson long ago. And I would like to place my trust in you. My servant has provided these tools for your escape. All I ask for in exchange is a meeting. Once you have gained more freedom of motion, come to me. I reside in a manor house lit by a single gas lanturn on the old moor road outside of town. Just come and speak with me and mine. If you choose to leave afterwards, we shall show you the door and never trouble you again.

But remember, Roland. If what you want is revenge and destruction, you will find no one better suited to giving it to you.

    Ruby
Greetings, Ruby. It is a pleasure to finally communicate with you, even if I am limited to quill and ink.

I have long been an admirer of your work. The number of games you've played across the entire island is simply astounding. You have left a whole list of broken hearts and dead bodies in your wake, from Daveryn to Ghastenhall. And I beleive five more gentlemen still await the return of their lover from that 'trip to find themselves'? That takes talent, Ruby. And I would like that talent in my organization.

All I ask is that your hear me out. To that end, I have provided some tools that might help you leave your current surroundings. I have even situated myself nearby. Outside of the town closest to Branderscar, there lies an old moor road. If you find an old manor house, lit by a single lantern, on that road, then you have found me. If you need help finding the road, then I'm certain someone in the prison has a map.

If you do not like my offer, and choose to leave, we shall show you the door and never trouble you again.

But remember, Ruby. You seek fun, and you seek to control. No one will be able to offer you that better then I can.

    -A Friend

    Zadok
Greetings, Zadok. It is a pleasure to finally communicate with you, even if I am limited to quill and ink.

I am a friend and a great admirer of your work. Your progression in the martial schools was incredible, especially with all those holding you back. If my own mentor had been whispering words of failure into my ears in a similar situation, as yours did, I am not certain I would have been able to succeed half as well as you did. That takes talent. And I would like that kind of talent in my organization.

All I ask is that your hear me out. To that end, I have provided some tools that might help you leave your current surroundings. I have even situated myself nearby. Alright. I tried to check with everyone about any changes I made to their back story, but I had to leave before I heard everyone's response. If anyone has any problems with their letter, PM me.
