I'd have preferred purple or, barring that, the green.

I am, however, Red. They stuck me on the team that was in last place, in addition to being one of my last picks, color-wise. :|

But, hey, I'm here for the games, not The Game. And, since I doubt I'll be one of the lucky 30 picked from the daily winning team for some free loot, it hardly matters.

Well, there's some nice deals, but all the stuff I'd buy I already have. Not sure if I'm happy about that or not.

It's still day 1, and they haven't even offered the first community choice sale. Give it time.

Purple here which is as a good as any. I don't really intend to buy anything in this sale(which probably means I will see something by tomorrow and end buying it) so winning from there would be nice.

LOL. When I wrote that, purple was dead last. I woke up and now it is first. :D

I get 2 summer cards if purple wins today (since I contributed 1 point). I plan to contribute 1 point everyday.

Other than that, I recommend everyone to buy Don't Starve. They are planning to introduce multiplayer. It will be a lot of fun for $3.

Payday 2 is 66% off. I don't own it but the free weekend was fun.

Speaking from experience, the Payday series is loads of fun. From what I've seen and understand about the concept, it actually handles the idea of a bank job (or some other crime) pretty well, with the cops showing up roughly two minutes after you put on your mask and scream "THIS IS A ROBBERY!"

In related news, fuck the Shield enemies. Such bullshit.

Got home from work and saw Age of Empires II HD was on sale, anyone that has played it that can compare the nowadays horrible unit pathing of the old game to this one? I.e. Did they only retouch or did they rework?

As far as I tested the HD 'remake' changed pretty much nothing. The new expansion that used to be a fan one(and is still available as such last I checked) does make changes and adds lots of things.

If you get the chance try to pick up Natural Selection 2 on sale. I bought it about... 9 hours ago and I haven't stopped playing since. I'm supposed to be up for work in 4 hours. >_>

It's a mix of strategy and FPS, with one player on each team acting as the commander; laying out bases, picking upgrades, using special powers. The rest get a choice of various armaments/monsters to use to try and beat the other guys into a pulp.

It's a nice combination of strategy and shooting and it's very addictive.

FTL is a fun game that you should pick up, even if you don't play a lot of roguelikes. Just Cause 2 is a great value at $3, but that sale is ending soon.

It's actually the same price if you buy them individually on Steam, Yak.

If you want me to grab them all for you with US prices, just drop me a line on steam sometime. US Prices are almost always lower than AU/Europe Prices.
