We've seen that shinigami powers are genetic. If he's the soul king's son then he'd probably have them. Then there's what happened when he was a baby. If a shinigami touched him then he'd probably have gotten their powers.

 

Ichigo was born a half shinigami. He wasn't a shinigami just because he had the power to be one inside of him. He was a pseudo-but-kinda-real-shinigami the second he pierced himself with Rukia's sword and had his own zanpakuto, and became a true shinigami when he underwent the process with Urahara.

So just because a shinigami possibly touched Juhabach when he was a baby and later died doesn't automatically make him a shinigami. He would have undergone training to become one and get his own zanpakuto. Which i really don't see the "son of the soul king" being allowed to do.

I could of course be proven wrong, but we shall see.

 

Why would training be an issue if he already has all the memories of a shinigami?

 

His ability to utilize internal power instead of reishi is a huge foreshadowing that he might be a shinigami, since it's the opposite of a quincy's ability.

Both quincy and fullbringers use external powers, while hollows and shinigami use internal, but quincies can't use hollowfication, so that leaves shinigami.

 

I don't really view Volstandig and Blut vein as being external powers.

 

Both techniques absorb reishi.

Personally I preferred Aizen's "This was all part of my plan". Short and sweet.

it's pronounced Yūhabahha in Japanese.

Considering Yhwach based his name on YHWH and it's pronouced Ya-way (Or at least close to it, I think.) I say it as Ya-watch.

 

Well, if Yhwach's weird eye power thing works the way I think it does I don't see any way to stop him short of Grade A bullshit. Which, admittedly, is pretty much par for the course. It's like Kubo had Sharingan-envy.

 

There is no Troll but Kubo, and Yhwach is His messenger.

 

I think that when Kubo was a little kid, he wrote up this huge list of cool super powers.

This 'unnecessarily long build up till Ichigo Does Shit' thing is getting tiring.

 

I think it's fitting that he has that kind of power, he was the ruler of the world after all. I think the introduction of the soul king is going to introduce a new tier of power or ability.

 

Considering that Ichigo is one of the least interesting characters in the series I find I don't mind as long as we don't have to see him traveling.
