You slagged off Mike Lowery too.

And that wasn't in reference of you not liking the movie, but calling out someone because they do.

You have been weighed, you have been measured and you have been found wanting.

Dude, Aekiel and I are poking at one another in jest. You on the other hand are taking everything personally for some unknown reason. There's a difference. And I'm done with this back and forth with you. This thread's been derailed long enough.

That's what redditor's were saying about the casting of Heath Ledger as the Joker in '06. Think we can all agree that that worked out pretty well. Lets at least wait until the trailer to determine whether or not Jared Leto is worthy to be the joker.

Personally I'm looking forward to some good action movies, none of them will win an Oscar but whatever:

    - Mad Max; Charlize Theron is always solid and the 80's films were pretty entertaining.

-Mission Impossible Rogue Nation; always entertaining. Tom Cruise may be insane but Ethan Hunt is one hell of a character.

    - James Bond: Spectre

Man, I posted that link like two pages back.

Speaking of James Bond: Am I the only one who really likes that the Daniel Craig Bond movies are much more connected together? I can't recall other bonds being this connected (except those two movies with Jaws or the ones with the redneck American sheriff). I'm definitely looking forward to Spectre.

Also there should be an "A Knight's Tale" TV show. That would be awesome.

Yes. I'm clearly the one taking things personally.

A friend told me that apparently the tattoos for Leto are just part of the 75th anniversary of the Joker.

There was a connection with the first 6-7. Spectre employed Dr.No and they eventually killed James Bond's wife at the end of HMSS.

So I just saw Mad Max.

It was really very, very good.

I may have an even bigger mancrush on Tom Hardy now.

Good to hear. I saw the trailer and I was really worried it would suck.

    Jem and the Holograms trailer

    Such a letdown.

First of all, it's "From the director of Never Say Never" so we automatically know it's going to be shit.

But then the actual trailer destroys any hope that might have existed. This movie has almost nothing common with the cartoon. What a shame.

I mean it, I looked up the show and it's kinda fun and some of the music is even catchy. But of course we can't have anything nice, we can't have anything truthful to the source material. It's just a huge waste of potential.

I don't know. I doubt even the action and the holoprojectors would have been enough to salvage Jem. The show was hilariously awful.

I haven't watched it growing up, so I wouldn't know.

However, staying true to the source material is always an automatic plus.

u wot m8te? fite me IRL.

But seriously, Jem might have been a so bad it's good 80s show, but it had charm, and maybe even some timelessness to it. I say that as someone who watched it in the 90s along with other gems such as Silverhawks, Thundercats, Transformers, etc... but it really did have a unique place in cartoon history. Really disappointed they're not doing better by it.
