Aggressive tempo mage lists seem to be preying on all the c'thun stuff. Vanilla minions are removed easily.

 

I logged in to my American account after like a year to get a taste of things and got Chogall in the first 7 packs. Playing with basically no cards is kinda weird and rank 20 is weirder still. Thank god I'm not new, getting started from 0 is daunting.

 

First thoughts after playing my cthun rogue for a bit?

...don't run without draw, lol. Sprint probably mandatory, Xaril unnecessary.

 

A spell heavy mage is pretty ridiculous at 13-14. Only losses I have are to control warrior.

 

On a win steak now! Been destroying ppl. Shadowcaster, Blade of Cthun and Twin Emps winning me games (when C'thun doesn't).

Last three were against tempo mage, mid range fucky evolve shaman and some kinda dragon cthun warrior.

So many awesome targets for shadowcaster. Brann, disciple, twin emps, Blade of Cthun...

You just basically use your well statted minions and removal to keep control until turn 7,by which point they should be shitting their pants.

You've won once they start using resources on removing your minions. I always outvalue end game. Especially with my blade into double shadow caster, into double blade skeram into cthun finish against a mid range shaman

 

Maybe I shouldn't try to do stuff at 3:20 am.

Now I need to figure out what to do with those 15 Tournament packs.

Opened 50 packs and the only legendaries I got are Shifter Zerus and Nat. Blizzard pls.

 

I got shifter with my 5 packs daily, lol. Weird card.

I ran into a bug with C'thun. a Priest entombed it but I was able to kill it when it was played and I played Doomcaller thinking it would shuffle back into my deck(I was in fatigue) but 'Thun didn't shuffle back into my deck and the next turn I had death by fatigue. Unless it isn't a bug and Entomb made it the Opps' then frak me.

 

Not a bug, apparently what actually happens is that Entomb takes control of the creature, and then shuffles it into their deck.

 

1. Have Shifter Zerus in your deck.

2. Knock the other guy down to 4 health.

3. Shifter Zerus has evolved into Arcane Golem! Play him to finish them!

4. Completely forget that Arcane Golem got nerfed.

5. Got rekt.

 

I didn't know that until I read on reddit that Entomb makes the minion the opponents own instead.

Eater of Secrets is an amazing tech card to play after your opponent blows their load on Yogg-Saron, especially if Yogg dies by the random spells it casts. My Mage opponent destroyed the board with Elemental Destruction and I iced the cake by eating 2 secrets 2 turns after to get that 4/6 body!

 

Not a single legendary, quite annoyed ....

 

Opened my preorder 50 plus most of the free ones. Got a couple of legendaries:

Ragnaros, Golden Malkorok, Golden Nat, Soggoth, N'Zoth

Not a bad haul at all. Now to decide what to do with my golden malkorok and nat. Might keep the malkorok and DE the Nat - can't see the Nat being that useful.

I've been playing an aggro paladin list, based on Steward of Darkshire and 1 health minion synergy. Really strong with just a single Rallying Blade. Punishes most of the day 1 players trying to play control.

Unfortunately, 1 hp minion.deck is much weaker when you don't get Steward out and most classes can clear the 1 hp with hero power.

Most fun thing to do is to play Steward -> Stand Against Darkness -> Rallying Blade. Might be too fragile to AoE to be meta, but is a lot of fun!

 

Bought 70 packs with gold and after 39 packs of nothing I get The Boogeymonster. It was apparently going to be one of those days. I was wrong. After that I got a golden Yogg-Saron, golden Y'Shaarj, Chogall, Shifter Zerus and Halazeal. Not to bad I think

 

I opened 163 packs- got the new Rag, Hallazeal, Twin Emperor, Boogey Monster and YoggSaronx2- About 5k dust from DEing after.

I still need to DE my old nerfed cards.

I'm a bit disappointed, I had a better haul from TGT launch(opened 100 packs).

Between dicking around with Mill rogue yesterday and testing decks today I have dropped from rank 5 to 9.

 

I only opened Xaril, but I crafted Yogg and a pair of cabalist's tomes to mess around with. Yogg did 20 to my opponents face against a shaman and sacrafical pact'd a jarraxus. 10/10 would play again.

As for epics, I got 4 sets of Tentacles for arms.
