So, uh... I got somewhat lucky in this draft. Whether it's good or bad luck, I don't know, but there was plenty of luck.



I had a chance for N'Zoth instead of Troggzor, but 10 mana without a huge amount of synergy didn't seem like it would work as well as a simple Troggzor.

I know, I had the dream Tirion + N'Zoth possibility, but it just felt out of reach.

 

Not a huge amount of synergy? It's a second Tirion...

 

In the dream scenario yes, but most arena games doesn't go on for that long and you get value alot faster with troggzor since you don't have to rely on Tirion to die first.

 

I went ahead and swapped out my 2 Molten Giants for Sea Giants and crafted Gormok for Zoo and holy shit is it a amazing deck!!!

Darkshire Councilman + Forbidden ritual is such an amazing combo for Zoo.

 

Another 12 wins arena run, which doesn't happen too often for me. The second loss was a a very unlucky one, I kept not drawing any of my myriad of late game cards when we'd already reached the late game, and ended up going 5-2, which I knew wasn't what this draft deserved.

Anyway, went on a win streak and final boss at 11-2 ended up being a warlock with 5. Goddamn. Dark Peddlers. Five of them. All of which he played until turn 4. Thankfully, Minibot is a good card.

Not really.

 

I just played a Hunter in Standard that played King's Elekk on turn 2 and had no minion in the rest of his deck.

He hero powered turn 3, played Deadly Shot on turn 4 and Unleash + hero power on turn 5 before dying.

I don't understand.

 

Yogg and Load - savjz played it last night. All spells, except for 1 King's Elekk, Thaurissan, Yogg.

 

Why the Elekk then? To draw the Thaurisan?

 

Guaranteed Yogg or pseudo-guaranteed Thaurissan draw. (Though, honestly, you're going to play it as a Yogg draw 90 % of the time.)

Watched a bit of dreamhack last night. Tried out the crazed alchemist for zoo and its working incredibly well. Eating Shaman totems, Klaxxi Amber-Weavers, the warrior taunts...

 

Haven't had a single legendary from around 20 packs so far. I must be stupidly close to 40 packs without a legendary now.

Also, finally bit the bullet and bought league of explorers. I don't think it's possible to play Hearthstone anymore without it really.

Or you can, but it's just not as good. I play the game enough to justify it, I've decided.

 

LoE's probably the best value of any of the expansions in terms of overall card quality generated. It's pretty great.

 

Depends what class you play I guess. Pillager pretty integral to Miracle atm, but I'd be zoo fodder without Skulker.

 

Yeah, not doing BRM. I really want the flame waker, but thats it. I wish they made the cards craft able after 6 months or something.

What are some must craft legendaries from Old Gods? N'Zoth? I've got about 8k dust, and I wanna craft stuff that gives me a few options really.

 

If you like control pally, light ragnaros + n'zoth are both really good.

 

Need Tirion for that deck.
