I've been messing with Firebat's OTK priest (swapped velen for justicar, but I'm not happy with her either.)

Also trying out a super controlly rez priest because of all the token druids on ladder.

Barnes on turn 4 into rez+rez or bishop is broken if you pull sylv/bog/rag/ysera etc

Lightwell, Deathlord, Shadow Madness, Nova, SW:H for reach... Priest is ridiculous in that one - as per usual Priest is only good for Heroics. Nightbane also died to a adaptation of Resurrect Priest... T1 Rag, when Rag finally died (T4 or 5?), Onyx Bishop to get him back, and when Nightbane's Rag shot mine, I just MC'd his Rag.

Curator was annoying.

Well, yes, if Deathlord gets corrupted, you're fucked. It's not a panacea, just a really good card. It took me a few tries, but there was progress.

Savjz just played a Cabalist's Tome on stream and drew 3 copies of it. What are the odds of that happening? According to his stream, 1 in 24389, idk if that's true. All I know is that there are 29 mage spells (I think).

 

Yeah, I'm done with Hearthstone until Yogg's nerfed into Majordomo territory, or banned. Every fucking deck plays it now, and unless you play retardo face and try to end games before turn 10, every single game turns into a coin flip regardless of how well you've played.

I play a Spell Mage deck last few days, with Cabalists, Arcane Giants and Yogg.

I had a Yogg-off with another Mage. Both of us with Ice Barrier and Iceblock, but I had played at least 15 spells, while he had only 5.

His Yogg (played first) gave him a Flare, a Holy Nova and some armor. My Yogg did some random damage, didn't clear his board, kill him or heal me, killed my Yogg and just did like a dozen useless hunter and priest spells that didn't affect the board.

Yoggs hate me.

 

Was playing against a Gang-up, Yogg, Giants, miracle rogue a few days ago. Ended up with six copies of Yogg in deck plus one from a shadow stepped Barnes pull plus the one on board. Cleared the first two, but... yeah. The RNG fiesta killed me way before him.

 

Meanwhile, I won a 4 Yogg (1 me, 3 from my opponent) game earlier this week. To be fair, his second Yogg discarded his Monkey'd hand, so...

RIP: Druid, Rogue, Hunter, Zoo and Freeze. Warrior without Waraxe though will probably get run over. Would be curious.

Btw, notice no 4m 7/7? Clearly not as broken as Thing From Below, which is garbage without Tuskarr anyway.

 

Aggro Shaman is probably dead anyway with these bans, arguably was already dead with the exclusion of Tuskarr and Doomhammer ban removes their finisher. Most decks also run good counters to Flamewreathed, with Mage arguably having the worst if it's played on curve. Dealing with the sudden hilariously good trade (via Wrath of Air + Spirit Claws or Flametongue), 2 cards per turn, or a 3 mana 6/6 over two minions is worse.

We might still see a Discard list out of Warlock, and maybe someone will bring some Innervateless Druid list, but Rogue is pretty dead, and any Hunter that isn't a complete SMOrc deck is too. I kind of expect Tempo Mage to be the the dominant deck, along with a Dragon Warrior variant, even without Winaxe.

 

DiscoLock without Doomguard? Lol

I'm not sure how competitively viable Hunter is without CotW...

No Tirion ban though... How do you beat n'zoth pally? Or Murloc OTK?
