I went 5-0. Then lost the next 3. Just ran into people with perfect curves and I had no answers.

55 dust, 50 gold + pack reward in the end. Nothing special.

This is two exclusionary heroes in a row, 3 of 4 if you count Lady Liadrin (because you don't play WoW).

If they want promos, fine, but they need to make it available in the store eventually ffs. They know damn well we want dem sexy night elf booties.

Btw, next hero will be Maiv, she'll probably be a Rogue, and you'll probably need to sacrifice thirty babies...

At least I can find that in Australia...

(the Maiv thing isn't a joke. Leaked ages ago and called previous released heroes. Only guessing on Rogue though).

Oh god. Shamans been nerfed one day and the ladder is full of pos Trash Locks. I think I've faced 8 Leeroy zoo in a row.

 

So what's everyone's thoughts on Yogg? I'm thinking of breaking him down for dust now that he's been nerfed. The few times I've seen him played still in decks has been lackluster to downright horrendous for the other guy. Has anyone managed to pull off some big swings with him still?

 

He's not going to be used competitively, only for fun wacky times.

If you're not specifically using him in a deck, there's no reason not to dust him while you have the chance to get the full dust value from the Dust Buff that a nerf brings.

 

I don't buy the nerf is that severe. He was always a comeback mechanic for any spell heavy druid and tempo mage, which struggle / always lose if they fall behind.

8 spells in average generally gets you a board clear, and the odds of it hitting itself when played on a board (without Nethering/Dooming etc) are pretty slim.

I don't think it fits in every deck like it used to. I think, unfortunately, it's still competitive in the decks I've mentioned.

Speaking anecdotally, since the nerf, it's only stopped itself once (it vanished after i stole it mid run with my sylv...)

 

Just pulled off the Soulpriest+Velen+Flash Heal otk combo. 33 life total to zero.

Very satisfying feeling.

There's a lot of potential for neat stuff.

And hey, if you need to complete some quests? Murloc that gains +1 attack every time a murloc is summoned. It's fast for both you and your opponents!

 

Heroic Tavern Brawl is coming soon for one week only. Like Arena, but costs 1000 gold and you use a constructed deck and if you get 12 wins you get 50 packs, 3 golden legendaries and over 1k gold and dust. Replaces normal tavern Brawl for one week.
