Yeah, I think I'd struggle with some quests, due to a lack of certain cards (Nzoth, Sylvanas). The murloc one is painful, as I'm missing warleader, but there's no way I could ever scrap a 100 gold quest. Luckily I'm rank 19 in wild, so hopefully I can beat some noobs.
Also did anyone notice the changes they made to some of the Murlocs? The ones that buff or activate when murlocs are played now only apply to your murlocs.

Well Thijs got fucked playing Druid. He was 2-0 up playing against warrior, his last 4 cards were Emperor, Gadgetzan, 2 arcane giants. Then he lost the druid mirror, then played against discardlock, and didn't have a real play before turn 5. Ended up losing 4-3, and goes into the losers bracket.

 

Just had my first ever 12 arena win, my previous best was 8. I drafted Nefarian, 3 Firelands portal and a flamestrike. Really really satisfying to get the 12 - 2.

What is DLPs best arena result?

 

Quite a few 12-0s. Wish I'd started keeping track when I got my first.

That's actually a big disappointment with HS for me. Lack of stats. If you've ever seen the World of Warcraft stats page? Oh my god, it's amazing. Stats about the most stupid, minuscule things. I feel like HS should have that.

Most times killed by Yogg. Times Yogg has killed itself. How many minions resurrected by Kel'Thuzad. How many times my opponent has "Sorry"d me. And then lost.

 

I feel bad for my poor ladder performance every month considering I have nearly every competitive card. I do see a marked performance since I started watching streamers and following their general advice/style.

 

Pretty pleased with myself not going with Thijs like everyone else. I think my champion was Amnesiac?

 

Dragon Priest Hoooooo

 

Holy shit those last two games in Amnesiac v. Pavel.

 

Priest looks like it's going to be ridiculous in the new expansion

 

Priest is sort of in a funny spot at the moment. Terrible at ladder, killing it in tournaments. Curious to see where the new cards land Priest.

 

There are a lot of anti face cards shown already, Priest's biggest weakness.

I like the 5m 5/5 rogue card too. It might be too slow, but it's like a weapon without the negative effect of taking face damage - with it restealthing when it kills.

 

I got to play a brawl using decks from the upcoming expansion last weekend. The Paladin legendary is awesome:



I dropped every buff possible on him and he alone took me from having 6 health to winning the game with 30 health. Crazy awesome card when your opponent doesn't have a removal.

 

The 1/2 paladin card that lets you draw when he gets stronger is going to make my paladin aggro deck. I know it

 

There's also a card that draws 3 1-cost minions from your deck for 3 mana.

I feel like, even more than Dragonfire potion, this card makes Control Priest super viable again. It's insane, the only reason it's not just broken is that it needs other cards to shine (or not if you play it in dragon Priest and just want to trade into their board...)

It synergises so well with Shadow word: Horror, pain, confuse, cabal spriest, potion of madness and shadow madness.

Such an amazing and elegant card. Can't wait to play it!

 

It is broken. In my opinion, they seriously overshot the buffs. Every expansion, all was like "priest still didn't get buffed?" "priest trash" and now they've buffed them into stratosphere.

That being said, my favorite is probably Doppleganger. That's going to be broken. The 5 drop to end all 5 drops.

 

Sure. If it's the only minion in your hand and gets all the buffs...

 

Some asshole Thoughtstole my Ysera and played it. Then he Mindgames'd my Tyrion, before Faceless'ing it.

Tables were flipped.

 

Just wait until Priest is the #1 deck in the meta.
