I havent finished it yet, but thought it was hilarious. But supremely fucked up in places. Supremely.

 

Really loved it

 

It's still pretty funny in parts. Well, as long as you still have an appreciation for bathroom humor and cheap sex jokes - which at 43, I still seem to, thankfully.

If you are immature enough to giggle at 300k words of "hilarious" Weasley bashing, then you'll probably like it.

Personally, I would rather gouge my eyes out than read that crap.

 

Okay, I'll bite. Where is the Weasley bashing?

From a cursory glance back at it, the closest it comes is to comparing Ginny to Harry's mom and how that is squicky.

Harry and Hermione set up Ron with Luna, who promptly appreciates it, and in general the Weasleys seem to have it pretty good in that fic.

 

Just taking a random chapter:

I'm pretty sure the entire fic is a Ron/Ginny bashfest, though I don't have the energy to read enough to find out.

 

yeah, "in parts" should have probably been explained a bit. It's about how you'd expect a 2006ish comedy fic to be. Some funny parts, some horrible overuse of tropes of the time, including bashing.

Still has one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen in a fic though.

 

It's been years since I read it, but I'm pretty sure it has Ron in a happy relationship with Luna and having lots and lots of implausibly good sex. I'm sure it portrays him poorly at times, but that's not exactly bashfic material.

 

I've tried to read this story a dozen times, but it's just too juvenile. The humor doesn't land on me at all.

Can't really rate it, not having read it past a few chapters (repeatedly), but I wasn't the slightest bit impressed.
